I got someone that need money.

Someone else want to send money there.

The easiest way is to do crypto.

The friend wants to be axie infinity player, which seems to be a pretty good job in Afganistan.

The thing is

He needs

1. A crypto exchange that is non KYC. He doesn't have passport
2. That crypto exchange must have android wallet
3. Another crypto exchange local to Afganistan. Some ways to convert his crypto into cash

Anyone knows that?

I see a thriving Axie player game in poor countries like Afganistan.

Also what's a good and cheap enough phone that you can buy in Afganistan to play axie infinity

It is pretty messed up. Unless he finds a good exchange  or ATM(FIAT ramp) he don't have many options left. His other choice is finding a local buyer but things may go south quickly considering where he lives. I don't even know if there are any exchanges that accept any customers from that country. There aren't any probably.

So what's the deal with 3rd world country people not having passports or ID cards though? I'm genuinely curious.
Is that a thing in 3rd world countries?  I was thinking it is just that some KYC services do not recognize local IDs for a number of countries and ask for passports instead.  That may be even more valid for countries in which it is easy to produce or obtain counterfeit documents.

While I have not used it anywhere, most exchanges claim to support national ID cards such as mine (unless the exchange specifically does not support my country of residence).
Most of the exchanges (at least the popular ones) have local communities and they use the community admin to verify details as well. Recently, I had an issue with Binance KYC verification & I have tried to reavch through the global telegram channel but no luck. Then I contacted with the local community and they just literally took 5 minutes and boom. I was approved/verified there.

Afghanistan is pretty much a locked country right now. It'll be hard to find exchanges that cater to the said country, or find some P2P exchanger willing to buy or sell crypto for him. At best, you can do the buying and selling for him and just let him pay you through Paypal or other such payment processors that he has on his end that are still accepting transactions from Afghanistan.

As for phones, any Chinese phone will do. Axie Infinity is not a graphically-demanding, or CPU intensive game. You just need to have a stable internet connection though, to ensure that you'll stay in the game when you need to.
As of now more countries are regulating the usage of cryptocurrencies. Afghanistan is suffering much on terrorism and looking a way to use cash converting cryptocurrency is a big task. The better way is much discussed and suggested in the previous posts.

For KYC free usage the best way is making use of the currency exchange board. I'm not sure about the prevailing situation in Afghanistan, we knew based on the news from different articles. In my country we had got strict regulations, but we used it overcoming it.

You can use crypto currency easily everywhere, even you can use this in Afghanistan also,
Crypto currency is easy to send abroad. But some exchanges need KYC(know your customer) . But a lot of exchange's where they didn't need need KYC. there you can do deposit and withdrawal without govt authority.

It's true that anyone can use crypto as long as there is electricity and internet, because there are many ways to still be able to use crypto even without
the knowledge of the government. Some countries whose governments prohibit the use of crypto, there are still residents who can use crypto. One of
them can use exchanges that do not apply KYC procedures, besides that, we can also ask for help from friends or family who are in other countries.
So as long as we try we will surely find a way, so don't despair if we live in a country that prohibits crypto.

This country is a mess right now after the recent pullout and Taliban takeover. It is in ruins right now after many decades of war and the government is looking to raise funds however they can. Any technique you put up here is likely to only be temporary if it works at all, because they will eventually figure out who is making money in this way and try to take it from them. Ultimately unless your friend lives near the border and is able to get into another country for safer transactions, then they might be stuck for a little while until the new government determines what is allowed in terms of finances and trading. Playing games is probably at the bottom of the list for most of the country right now.

I think they will have to rely on a decentralized exchange, I don’t really know many decentralized exchanges apart from paxful.com and localbitcoins.com. And these two decentralized exchanges have Android applications that you can find on the Google Play store. Apart from these two, the other exchanges that I have been seeing are all centralized exchanges and they require KYC for you to be able to make use of them.

Then as for cheap Android phones that you can get in Afghanistan, no one can really tell you that except from people who are living there. So since that person is living there in Afghanistan, he should inquire from people around him or maybe do a small search online and he will be able to find some cheaper phones that he would be able to purchase. Maybe if there is Amazon.com, or any other similar online shopping website that is available in their country, he can check them out to see phones that are available for a cheaper price.

I don't understand why OP's friends don't like to comply with the KYC requirement, it's very basic that once you convert you crypto asset to fiat, you need to do it in an exchange regulated by the government which means you are required to comply with the KYC.

Yeah, I mean what's the problem with sending your private information to an unknown entity who you will never be able to bring to court over mishaps with your data. Wait till one major leak happens and then you get some calls from the police that your papers have been used in this and that and you will soon realize why poeple do fear KYC in a lot of cases. Besides, we're talking about Afghanistan here, I'm pretty sure any exchange would definitely hand the data request to the Taliban rather than risking another angering some poeple known to blow stuff up on every occasion. Would you like to be in that situation?

Anyhow, I don't understand OP's need for two exchanges, just a local one will do, unless you're paid in some shitcoin nobody wants to touch.

The normal one is to store crypto. The local one is to exchange crypto into cash

I do not think binance can convert bitcoin into cash.

I am not sure about banks

You're (or your friend) planning on storing your coins on an exchange?
There are so many things wrong with this, not even mentioning the fact that probably Afghanistan will get banned from every exchange but again, why would you use this to store coins and not a simple wallet from which you will send coins when needed for the local p2p deal?

You have really made a huge request here and I don’t really think that I will be able to answer all of them. The thing is that I do not live in Afghanistan, so you will need someone who is living in that country and is well experienced in everything about cryptocurrency to be able to give you most of the answers you are going to need.

Like in the case of which phones can be affordable, it will take someone that is living in Afghanistan to check the market and know the types of phones and how much they are being sold there, because the same price they are being sold in my country wouldn’t be the same price that they are being sold in any other country. As for local exchanges that they can make use of, has he or she tried checking exchanges like localbitcoins.com or Paxful.com to know whether these decentralized and peer to peer exchanges are available in their country?

A good childhood friend of mine served two years in Afghanistan as a training officer. Funnily enough, he always told us that in principle every Afghan has a cell phone, even if they tend to be of the cheapest variety. But he said that also seriously, because often Afghan officers who accompanied them on the patrol always phoned and it often made the appearance that the people in their village in which they then wanted to patrol were waiting in advance and thus also the Taliban always already knew when they came.

But what I actually want to say is that from a technical point of view, the Afghan is well equipped for crypto. The mobile network is also comparatively well developed. I think most people lack the knowledge of the technology rather than the ability to implement it.

Axie Infinity has it's own native sidechain called Ronin[1]. To prevent him from paying any fees(bridging fees, etc. ETH transactions are sky high right now) at all and without the needing to submit AML/KYC, try looking for someone in social media groups in your country/area(Facebook groups, etc) that could sell him some WETH/USDC so he can buy some Axies. Watch out for scammers, of course.

[1] https://wallet.roninchain.com/

The original sidechain from Axie infinity is the most recommended method because it doesn't need AML/KYC and the features are also complete.
There are 2 methods to choose from to deposit WETH, AXS, SLP.

Using the purchase of Ronin on the Ramp Network or using the Ronin Bridge which will directly connect with Metamask to your personal wallet.
Everything can be done easily

Crypto is decentralized and you can use it very easily because it is not under control of any government . It is controlled by the user's. So don't worry and keep it up in Afghanistan. But it is all about on decentralized crypto .for the centralized tokens and coins you should to follow the government rules.

im from Afghanistan and as far as i know there is no exchanges in Afghanistan  (only P2P exchange) but the trust is the issue, if people find out you own crypto they may get curious about it and do anything to get it from you! the best solution is to find someone do convert for him! you can can send him money via WU or sarafi (its kind of exchange in Afghanistan) but i dont think they will accept crypto as payment.
if there is more you want to know about the situation, @me here or send me PM Smiley
your friend still can use exchanges like WU or Moneygram if he/she has Tazkeera (piece of paper that shows your identity) so your friend can recieve money and then find someone to convert it to crypto! as i said the trust may be an issue! and there are many used android phones can be purchased in Kabul or other cities Smiley if you are going to send him/her money be careful to give his/her full name + father's full name as well, they check this too!

Cryptocurrencies like bitcoins for right now do not have any rules pertaining to the legal issues therefore there has been a current rise in people using cryptocurrencies there, which does mean that instead of using exchanges, you can ask people you know. P2P would work best, but for that you would have to inquire and at the same time see what people are interested in and that would help you a lot.

Then again if the guy doesn't wanna do KYC he should know that he might not be getting the best rates and at the same time the government was showing security concerns regarding everything in Afghanistan pertaining to cryptocurrencies therefore you might find it hard to find exchanges which do not ask for KYC or anything, it's better that you look for simple and popular one's like binance and do your KYC, ofc you will get the best rates.

for question number 1, I think there are still many exchanges that currently don't use KYC for trading in it, it's just limited. well, he could take advantage of that. he can also use DEX for that. if it's Axie's game problem, he can use the DEX provided for it, he can use https://katana.roninchain.com/#/swap

for problem number 2, I don't really understand what kind of exchange he needs, but there are several exchanges that have apps out there that can trade, but they are also quite limited. However, if this is Axie, he can still use the Ronin Wallet or Metamask in the smartphone browser that he has using the Kiwi browser. I think there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube, or blog articles.

Playing Axie Infinity should not be a problem if you have crypto, you can convert it to ethereum and move the funds onto ronin blockchain.
However the first thing which you should have is the crypto. Can you buy crypto from local bitcoins or any other P2P platforms which are operational in Afghanistan?
