What a bear market actually looks like

yes you are absolutely right, beginners are very prone to panic when they find out the crypto market is declining like it is now, and in my opinion that should not happen to everyone, because investing in crypto has a very big risk of course we must be prepared to bear that risk, actually if you look at the bear market that occurred in 2018 then I think the current decline is nothing, because at that time crypto prices fell very deeply compared to now.

We can't conclude that the bear market is over but the recent downturn in the market has been drastic, we've seen how Luna hit an all-time low of $0.6 in just a few days but I'm concerned if the top coin market also results in the same decline in future.

we never imagine luna price could dump till below $1 only in few days, so far i know this is biggest dump in crypto market that i seen. luna and ust be main trigger why in few days ago bitcoin pric could crash sharply and as if there is no brake to stop it.

Honestly speaking, if you are in crypto and you can't be able to face the bear market, then it is really sad to say that you are not compatible for crypto profit too. I survived the 2018 bear and now I am still in crypto because I am used to it. But you mention one more thing, which is about meme coins and shitcoin. You mention that this type of bear market destroys the shitcoin and meme coin, which is really a sad reality because it shows the projects' exact power. But, in my opinion, meme coin and shit coin are just short-term trading coins that are not compatible with altcoins. That's all there is to it; don't invest in meme coin or shitcoin for the long term because the bear market will destroy you. my opinion. Thank you.

You are right. Bear market is only for utility  coins that have real demand. So, bitcoin is store of value and then i focus on privacy coins as they are being used. The thing with monero is that there is already a lot of speculation and greed into monero so it might tank. Zcash is dead already. That is why I got into a new privacy coin that might be a monero killer. There was an asian guy on this forum announced a new privacy coin totally new that is impossible to trace. Once it gets exposure real demand will follow and required by a lot of folks who need it.

i do believe the same thing, manipulation that done by whales make another investors panic and they sold all cryptocurrency asset they have. this is condition many times happen , the bottom looks like still not in.

bear market is a natural selection for altcoins, whether they survive or not, let alone meme coins and new projects. as if this bear season will rid cryptocurrencies of incompetent altcoins, or simply scams and rid themselves of the hype. therefore choosing a top coin for now will make us safe in facing the bearish season, let alone choosing bitcoin for investment at this time

Then buy Luna, ....thats a good example that anything can happen to crypto market at any time, top coin or not you need to control your greed in such a present market first, if you know how to read charts you will see that nothing is certain anymore, rebounds or more dips we are lost right now.

I actually did this, but with a tiny amount of 100 dollars. It may not be tiny for everyone but in the grand scheme of things I believe that to be quite low amount.

If it goes back up then I will have 500+ or so I am guessing with all the leverage I have and the way it's low right now, I do not believe that Luna will get back though, I bought LUNAUST so that when it's pegged close to 1 dollar again then I will profit a lot. That is the thing, if I lose, then it's just 100 bucks and I won't care too much about it, sure I would be upset about being wrong, but not the 100 bucks. When you see these type of chances appear, you take it, with a small amount and if you are wrong then you will not be upset.

This is not the first time that this story has been repeated. If a person does not have all the savings in the crypt, then I see no reason to panic at all, but yes, the story is extremely depressing.

This is because corporate companies and some governments are buying bitcoin from their own bonds as the bitcoin price drops. I think this time the bear season may be a little shorter or there will not be very deep falls.

The current bear market seems to be correcting back to 30k usd while still facing some degree of selling pressure. I guess there is a buying trend starting. Even then this bear market will be prolonged if the tables turn and more selling starts by some big players.

We can only wait and see while placing orders on both sides to take advantage of the situation. Buy if the price goes below 25k and sell if the price crosses the all time high of 69k.

It is a game of patience at this point.

it is good that last week candle closed above 30k which is a good sign and a Relief rally is expected soon which might take Bitcoin to 37K but Fear and Greed Index is around 8% which is very low and rarely seen such a weak market sentiment. The devastating crash of Luna has sent shock waves across crypto community globally and its impact is clearly visible on declining marketcap, it will need much time before market confidence is restored.

I don't know if it's a bearish market, but it sounds like a strong correction to me, because when the markets are bearish, for me it means that a bullish and Distribution trend stage has been completed, so far I don't see anything that can say that it corresponds to this, however I think that the correction is strong, and it could be called bearish for me if and only if I see it from a short or medium term time frame, but when looking at other models and seeing the trend it is not bearish for me, and no is that I am very optimistic, but all this is very normal in speculative markets.
