Nobody can really know if we are already at the bottom or if we are having maybe another 1 or 2 years of bear market ahead of us. Also i don't think that the death of altcoins is a process that is going so fast that you can actually witness it. Maybe now the whole events around Terra could be one of those rare cases where a pretty big project could die literally within a few days because of that whole UST crash in the last few days. Terra is now at 0,85$ while it was still at above 100$ like a week ago that is absolutely crazy.
Overall i would say the death of all those useless meme-coins has already begun a few months ago because the hype is over and they are now slowly but surely dying. A hefty bear market speeds up this process of course.

Experience wise, you should learn from your past mistakes already. Same as in my case, the bear market in 2018 is really hard to bear but I just sucked it up and keep it under my belt as experience.
