I saw many people were gambling nowadays and some were doing it like their daily jobs. I was curious if this is a good career path since some says they like this kind of job. I do not know if you encounter those kind of person who always gamble as way of his daily living

I know people who make gambling as their daily activity and almost spend everything they make on that day at the evening just to feed their gambling urge but no they didn't make gambling as their job they work hard and spend everything on gambling due to greed and other factors.

Being a professional gambler is a thing but extremely rare so if you are someone who are trying to meet the needs should not see in that way.

It's can't be a career but some kind of hobby. Many people mistaken the profits they've made while gambling as some life changing opportunities. Gambling is risky and anyone who choose to take that path should be ready to face alot of losses. If we go to the extent of calling gambling a career, its totally wrong as that would only give us the wrong mindset.

The only way gambling can be some kind of career is someone who possibly owns a casino or works in a big casino. Such persons have good jobs that pays them through the casinos and have been able to make a life out of it. Aside from that I don't see how gambling should be a career path.

Lol, gambling can be a career only if you are playing positive EV games or you are the casino itself haha. The problem is nowadays it is too hard for finding a positive EV games and technology is making it even harder for players to gain any advantage over casino.
I would have given an example of online poker but sadly you cannot beat the rake+bots+cheaters in long term. Try your luck with real life poker may be there is a chance.

Can gambling be seen as a major source of income? No because you shouldn't be gambling to become rich or see it as a major sources of income. If anybody choose to take gambling as a major source of income then how would that gamble after they have lost their initial deposits? This can lead to borrowing and can lead to more severe gambling lifestyle. Those that want to make money while gambling are those that don't take gambling seriously. When you are set to make money from betting, that is when you will be making loses for no reason.

Gambling can be a great career if you work at a casino or even own one.  Those are the careers in gambling though.  As a gambler, you are playing a game for entertainment.  I don't believe it is like a sport either where the best of the best can have a career at it.  It is more like some people get incredibly lucky and then spend their life trying to repeat that luck while calling it a job. 

Gambling is fun.  Gambling is not a job.  If you make money gambling, congratulations, you have beat the odds.  Closer to a man who finds a diamond ring on a strip club floor than an athlete.

Yeah, a lot of people gamble daily but It still doesn't mean that they take the activity as a career. I don't think anyone can and would take gambling solely as a career. You'll likely lose out on all of your money and go running back to your former employer begging for your position back.
I think it's more of a reality being a side gig as you've got to have a steady income if you want to gamble without having to borrow money from anyone willing to lend you.
It's simply better to not take gambling solely as a career as you're very likely to be losing a lot more money than you "earn".

The number of people who have taken up gambling as a career and become successful is certainly not high. Many gamblers generally want to take it up as a career but when they do not get any positive results from it, that misconception ends. Gambling cannot be a source of income, especially for casual gamblers. There are some gamblers who are professional gamblers, but their number is very limited. If it is considered as a source of pure temporary pleasure, then the gambler will have nothing to lose but when there is an attempt to profit from it, the gambler will suffer.

Nowadays many people are seen gambling but gambling cannot make a good career. If you are gambling then you should review all your past gambling records and if you have losses more than your income then gambling can never be a good career and if you have a lot of profit then I would say that you should not expect a good career based on gambling because gambling is only a place of entertainment and gambling should always be used as entertainment. We have a lot of countrymen that has used gambling as their career. Local or online gambling that has been their bread and butter but that is going nowhere. Let's say only a few from 100 people that do gambling as a full time career becomes successful. The rest of them deals with so much losses and it's not doing them a profitable business or career. So if they're going to be a full time gambler, there has to be a lot of process that they'll have through to be said that they're doing well and it's a good career for them to progress with.

Gambling can never be a way to earn money because there is no mention of a specific amount of income through gambling. Rather, in the case of gambling, most of the time gamblers lose their money in betting. A family needs a certain amount of money to meet its basic needs, which the earning member of the family has to earn. But when a person chooses gambling as a way to earn money, he can never guarantee that he will be able to earn the money he needs to meet his family's needs by gambling. Because the chances of losing are higher than winning in gambling. In most cases, it is seen that a person has lost more than he has gained by gambling. So I would say that it is never right to choose gambling as a way to earn money.

I think there are actually professional gamblers who take gambling as a job but I can also tell you without doubt those guys are extremely few in numbers and even the few ones, they posses a very long time knowledge and experience with a very deep understanding on how the odds works, a proper financial management including strong emotional discipline yet you are not guaranteed of some games like those we never expected against all calculations could enter.

But for the majority of those who gambling, it is done in form of entertainment and largely for fun sake, however it still end up degenerating to addiction because of the frequency of practice of such games. Whether you are an expert or not, luck as it is well known do have strong outcome on the result of many gambles regardless.

Actually, to be honest, I think gambling can never be a career for a person. Because you may win some money at first and want to take it as a career. But when you start losing and start playing again to recover your losses, that is when the danger arises. Because once you start playing to recover your losses, you will keep playing until your wallet balance is zero. However, I think gambling can give you some pleasure for a while, but taking it as a profession means leaving your future to your fate. It may be a fun game, but it is not the hope of life.

Gambling is not a career you should choose because the game is very difficult to win. If you choose other things there is a big chance you will progress with time and when you do it well. Moreover there are some successful gamblers but all gamblers luck is not the same. If you want to know whether you can be a successful gambler what you should look at is the history of your bet. If your losses are bigger than your winning, there is no way that you can be successful gambler easily.

Professional gambling is real and those who does that don't put their life on gambling for their survival they probably got many other revenue streams which can be passive investments and don't need to work at all yet they want to do something and realize they can do one thing which is considered as entertainment and took it as their profession. That will not be a wise decision for you to take gambling as a career. In the past, gambling has been treated as entertainment and fun, where you can lose or gain money for enjoyment. However, in a career, you are working for profits, and if you lose, that will disturb your finances. You have a greater chance of losing money and may face bankruptcy and loans, etc. It is better to reconsider if you have already made this decision. It would be better to keep it as entertainment rather then a source of income.
