It becomes a good career if you have a very outstanding stats and you're profitable. But forget about gambling as a career if you have terrible stats. Stats is all what matters to be said if gambling is a good career for you. Those who are consistently winning, they've thought of it doing before they have decided. I have encountered real life full time gamblers and they have specific games that they're playing. And to give an idea, they're not the EV+ games or luck-based games.

Check the financial life of those that gamble regularly as a means of generating income, you will have noticed one feature with them already and that is, they are always broke in terms of finances, bankruptcy always.

That shows the dangers of over relying on gambling as a such of income, making them to gamble repeatedly daily  where's gambling should be done just for the fun and not as ways to make money from them.

I have not seen anyone before that is gambling for income in a way that it will turn it to a job. I have seen two people that have tried it before and me included, making three of us but we all lost huge amount of money because of that. See it that way will only lead to addiction and loss of money. Gambling is just for fun.

You thought i was going to say no? if mere suggestions influenced people's decisions, the clear number of times these topics have been discussed in here should have done that long ago, but it doesn't. If you choose to make a job out of it, that's to your own peril!

I have seen alot of people who gamble almost every day. However  one thing I have noted about them is that they are never comfortable being just gamblers. They didn't become gamblers by choice, but the economic situation made them resort to gambling for some quick money.

No man in his right senses will want to rely on gambling alone for a living. Who likes a career that makes them win today and tomorrow massive losses. Sometimes they don't even know when the next win will come again.

Anyone who claims his profession is gambling and is living comfortably; check him well, he has other source(s) of income you don't know about.

You win in gambling is based on luck. For that reason, gambling isn't qualified to be a job because you hardly earn from it. Only lazy people will believe that gambling is a means for them to earn a living but the truth is that, they're doing more damage to themselves financially, emotionally and psychologically.

The house edge always win and all gamblers are losers in the long run, only few are able to win big and use the money to invest after they have quited gambling. Addiction will be the order of the day if your job is gambling.

Look, just because there is money everywhere, it does not mean that you can take it as a career. You can never take gambling as a career. Look at the beginning of the history of gambling. It was originally created for the entertainment of the leading people of that time. But now many businesses have started around it and it is also being promoted on social media in such a way that you can take it as a career. But how logical is it? Think about it yourself. You are making a lot of money by gambling, but if one day you are a victim of a big financial loss, can you tell someone that you help me with money, I will make a profit by gambling and return your money to you. But on the other hand, you may be a businessman or an employee. If you are going through a difficult time financially, you may get help from people, but no one wants to trust a gambler. No one wants to give money for something from which there is no guarantee that he will get his money back. There are very few people who have become rich by gambling or have been able to keep their wealth. This is an exception and an exception can never be an example.  So in my opinion, it would be foolish to choose gambling as a career, as it is better to remain a means of entertainment.

Gambling is a hobby, but it's very different from other hobbies. You don't get paid for what you do. Instead, you have to pay for every spin you make, every roll of the dice, and every card you hold. It's very different if your hobby, for example, is playing soccer. If you're serious and hone your skills, you can become an athlete and get paid for what you do.

I firmly believe that casinos are places to spend money, not to earn it. We pay for every bit of enjoyment we get from gambling and for every bet we place.

I personally assume gambling is more like an entertainment than a career. If we make gambling as a career, we may end up to be addicted because we too often gamble. It is not a good idea to gamble in an excessive way, especially doing gambling as a daily activity. Even worse, gambling becomes a source of our income. IMO, this is not a good idea, we know there is no certain way to ensure winning gambling consistently. We are unable to rely on something uncertain for our career because it is related to our regular income. They can only continue gambling if they have other sources of income. Because if you don't have, it means, you are living thru debts or other collateral that you have previously owned. I don't think you can sustain gambling without steady source of income, unless, you are born wealthy and your resources are unlimited.

But of course, gambling can be a career, that is, if you are in sportsbetting for long time or you are a professional poker player. But if you say, you will venture in those casino classics where luck is the major contributor in your games, I don't think you can make a good running career in gambling. I don't think that somebody can successfully make gambling a career because the risks of losing is higher than winning but I think a person can make gambling a lesser career. If they don't win they can still survive on the career that they are sure of making money, when they win the money will be a support income for them. Career gamblers will easily become addicted because chasing loses will be a part of their daily lives, unless they win very huge amount any small wins will be to recover loses. Professional gambling must be a very tiring job both mentally, physically and financially, it is not easy to beat the casinos, they have the advantage of the house edge while gamblers depends on luck.

Good career? I can say yes because someone I know is living a good life because he’s a professional gambler, and that’s actually his career. Although it’s hard to think that a gambling career which is very risky and unsustainable as it is turns like a stable one, but with my own two eyes, I can see that the person I’ve known is really living to its fullest, thanks to his gambling career.

Now personally, I do think gambling is really a tough and risky one, and I think I won’t survive in life having it alone. But there are actually brave gamblers who are doing good with it, and even enjoy their lives because of the massive profits they got to experience having a gambling career.

You can use gambling as your job. It can happen as long as you're ready in dealing with randomization. Don’t let anyone get into your head, don’t make foolish choice when it’s comes to gambling activity. I always wonder why gambling is seen as a source of income and now seeing someone ask if gambling activity is a right career path amaze me like  there’s no benefit going all into gambling. I have seen several people gamble for the sake of earning a life changing amount and end up not getting any thing surprising, they end up spending more even before losing the money besides gamblers who choose to gamble alone as a life career are not doing any good to themselves for a fact gambling activity was never meant to bypass poverty rather gambling is seen as a fun activity.

Gambling is mainly for entertainment, it cannot be a part of our life. If you consider gambling as a career in life, then this thinking or planning is completely wrong. A reliable income is needed to manage life properly. Gambling can sometimes be a reliable income because the future is uncertain, none of us know what will happen, so an uncertain thing cannot be a permanent career in someone's life. You can gamble just for entertainment, if you manage gambling by expecting more than this, you will not have self-control over yourself, which can increase the risk of losing money.

Similar topics have been discussed numerous times in the gambling section. I don't think gambling itself could ever qualify as a career; it's not stable, there are no guarantees, and the outcome is solely based on luck. How can your livelihood depend on something that unpredictable? Just because you might be winning now doesn't mean that'll always be like that.

The only way I could think of is if you're a streamer who's also paid from a specific casino to promote it. That way, you'll earn money from the casino, your subscribers, and donations, and ultimately from your wagers.
