Is this a general casino discord channel or for specific casino only?

I’m not a fan of discord channel because I preferred telegram over discord due to simplicity of telegram. Anyway most of the casino has their own discord channel that gives much lucrative giveaways in a the form of cash drop or free spin.

I guess OP is rather trying to build a community based on people/gamblers themselves, instead of focusing on a si gle website or casino, as those other servers do.
Anyway, whether one uses Telegram or Discord one needs to be careful with the sheer amount of scammers and shillers which inhabit those gambling and cryptocurrency community. Though, I have always had the impression it is easier to get scammed if one is an user of Telegram rather than using Discord.
I am open to give a look to this server, but I would keep my expectations low, as there are already so many gambling servers and many of them are truly disappointing with the amount of content one can find and also with the quality of moderation against scammers.

I gave it a look and they got thousand of members but little to no activity. This normally suggests that's the group has not been organically grown. They look to be trying to do that now by posting here and also possibly in other crypto gambling platforms, if done well they could still get some good conversations there. Only then can the level of moderation be checked.

I see you have the giveaway section, tell us more about how does that work, are the giveaways organized by the community or by the channel admins?

And i would suggest a general rules channel because if this thing grows bi,g then that will attract some scammers and you need a moderation team to avoid that risk to your users.

I liked the discord organization for this project, i can't promise to be really active on the channel, but i will lurk like a boss.

I'm not a big fan of Discord; I prefer simpler forums like this one in Bitcointalk, where everything is well-organized. What's attractive and interesting in your Discord-based community? I read from one member that there is very low activity but vast number of inactive members.
If it's a forum-based community,  it's open to the public and accessible online, and people will see if your community is good, and they might even sign up.

I don’t think the Op is the owner of the discord channel and he’s probably just here to create the Ann thread and go. I’m saying this because a lot of other services Ann threads were created by the Op, although, I didn’t scroll to see if the Op ever responded to any of them but one thing is certain unless a true representative of the company comes, one that has sound knowledge about the discord channel and why it was created, what they hope to achieve - unless someone like that comes I don’t think we’ll be getting any decent response from the Op.

Also, the name on the profile picture of the Twitter account he has(based on one of his posts) has the same color pattern as the Discord channels he shared.

I have gone to the channel, and it's true that he's among those moderating the channel. But he should also try replying to questions here—I noticed that he's active in games and rounds boards but he still hasn't replied to some questions that were asked in his previously created thread.


But let's see how this goes; he'll be more active here than in his previous threads.

Me too, I am not a fan of these discord channels but I think that someday I might like them as well if they're interesting.

While it's mostly about gambling and the community that he's trying to build there. He's giving tips and some discussions if someone stays on that channel of his.

I'm a casual gambler and I prefer the old-style gambling where we can just take bets and share them on forum instead. I'm not interested to share them elsewhere. More so the fact that the channel has little to no value to offer to me just yet as other members have confirmed in the inactivity over there.

I'm also interested in your giveaways. What sort of giveaways do you usually run? I'm guessing they are locked by certain roles? like those that can be given for active folks. What is promo code channel? does the team give out promo codes as well or it's just a general channel for promo codes?

Best to add as many information as you can on what makes the server attractive enough for folks to join. Generally though, giveaways pulls a lot of people, but that includes abusers as well sadly.

Actually it would be just that depending into someones preference in the end of the day on which there are those fellas who do wants or likes to deal up with sharing up ideas into these messaging platforms but most of the time in my case I do rather want to create on my own rather than on reading up on other analysis. It would be just that messing up my entire earlier analysis.

They sometimes call or spam message out of nowhere. It’s risky if you caught off guard when a impersonator admin try send you a scam link after your discussion on GC.

Ironically, there is also a Bitcointalk Forum discord server, which is relatively active and I have not received too much spam or scam attempts from people from that server, scammers trying to get my Satoshis, so I assume it is kind of relative on how big and the volume of users a discord server have, so they become an important target for scammers, fishers and spammers in general.
For example, I once joined a server which was supposed to be a place to learn German, and they server was huge, and because of the size of the serve there were some people who tried to scam me out of my steam account.

So it seems the size of the serve is an important factor when comes to attracting the attention of scammers.

As far as I know, you can filter out who can send you direct messages on Discord. It will limit your reach, so if you want to do a private conversation with someone, it can be a hassle. There should be a setting to customize that though. From my experience using Discord, scammers usually post links or files directly, and if you're not careful, you might download and run it without realizing it. Then again, an active community should have a basic protection against attacks like that.
