Sometimes it even more better to read over and over any terms and conditions so as to get better understanding of what is at play before one even set out to use such services.
The main problem is that some time term is not written/explained straight forward/detailed that may result in multiple interpretations. Something like "1 account per player", if we live in a big family and some of family members like to gamble in the same online casino, it should not be considered as multiple accounts unless the terms is written as "1 account per IP address". This kind of issue may also happen to anyone who like to access online casino in public places with free wifi (such as coffee shop)  as the account might be connected to other accounts of other people that we never knew.

You are 100% right and I agree it is my mistake.. i wasn’t aware of those rules regarding sports betting.
I will keep you updated on this issue after I send all the documents to Stake and hear back from them.

Thank you
Looking at how you replied this means you are really not aware of the rules as you also admitted
not reading the terms of service , and yes please keep us updated as this kind of issue will help other gamblers
be hassle free by reading TOS and also to prevent having this kind of risk from your funds.

That should not be illegal nor even questioned, two people can have two accounts regardless of the internal contracts they have between themselves, that is just common sense. Even the Terms and Conditions could be challenged if they include such as provision, because each person is an independent legal entity unless they agree to be sharing some responsibilities (e.g. a mortgage).
That is why She needs to prove this first to the Team , because that is correct they are actually
different account as their KYC is from different person.

Thank you for your reply. It's my first time posting here.

Indeed what we did seems to be against TOS but we weren’t aware of it. As I said, I didn’t even know casinos would ban players if they had a winning streak.

Stake is holding my whole balance for now. I will comply with what they are asking and send all the documents they need.
I am just asking for the money to be sent, not the limit to be raised again (although ultimately i would like to be able to keep on playing)
I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out to you first, but just incase no one did, then take this as a point of correction that, casinos don't ban players when they have a nice winning streak, atleast, not well known casinos like stake with some level of good reputation, that would be such an unfair thing to do.

What I know is that, casinos limit players who seem to be winning too much, they sometimes either limit the player in the area of amount of money the player can bet on a game, or limit the player in the area of games the player can bet on, but it's also good to know that when worst comes to worst, the casino might limit the player in both ways, but this is very rare, they may either limit the amount of money you can bet, or limit the games you can play.

In your case, your husband was first limited on his account, which is a normal thing for an account that is wining too much, then he opened a second account with your name, and this time, after winning, account was banned, now, it's no longer an issue of winning too much, but an issue of multi - accounting, which is a well known crime in most casinos.

Like you have decided, provide all that they are asking in terms of account verification, and I trust that when you and your husband manages to convince stake that the account belongs to you while the other belongs to your husband, then they should possibly lift the ban and allow you to withdraw your money.

Ok, show me where they are allowed to limit a single player in regards to his performances! ??

https://stake.com/policies/sportsbook
I found this in their ToS:
10.1 You are allowed to place Your bets/wagers on the markets/products offered in the Website. Stake is not obliged to accept any bet/wager from You and bets/wagers will only be deemed as valid and finalised, and therefore as accepted by Stake, when You receive the confirmation from Stake of the acceptance of Your bet/wager.

Maybe it doesn't explicitly state that they can limit account but it still gives them the right to reject any bet they want such as a bet which exceeds a certain amount.

For the record, I do not endorse such practices but we can't deny most sportsbook do it and they do it mainly to protect their business.

See, here there is great informations about the practice of limiting users !

ANJ concluded that operators cannot refuse bets from a player, unless the operator has a legitimate reason as designated under article L. 121-11 of the French Code of Consumption. This means that an operator could argue that it has a legitimate reason not to accept a sports bet from a patron.
Legally defined legitimate reasons include refusing to allow a minor, someone who has self-excluded or an excessive bettor to gamble.
In addition, offenders could receive two years in prison and a fine of €300,000.
