Since you've identified your weakness and that has to do with lack of emotional control, you're almost there. You're half way through it but it's not going to be easy if you want to tame that indiscipline (yes, an inability to control one's emotion is indiscipline).

I think it's a rush when you feel tempted to place more bets, and it will make you fall into a hole of defeat, even though basically it's all about luck or vice versa. I also sometimes experience the same thing when I get a feeling, so that makes me greedy by adding a lot of bets, and the thing that makes me greedy the most is when I have previously made a profit, so I think that it's okay to risk more of my bankroll. So basically greed is not good when gambling, although sometimes it can bring luck. So whatever happens is about being responsible, be wise in gambling and of course be responsible as a gambler.

People should see number on the screen as a number instead of your money, this is where most people can't because no one want to accept lose, they will panic and not stick with the plan.

Hence preparation is really need here, if we know how much we can take the floating loss, we will reduce the chance to doing careless while gambling or trading.

I can relate to it in some ways, but it's not about strategy in gambling tactics, it's about breaking my strategy in budget. That makes me either lot of money, or breaks me. But since it has ability to break my finances, i consider it to be a rule that i can't break anymore. Not even a little.

About your strategy though, it doesn't really matter if you break it or not. Reason you are winning because you have highest change, so odds of it are set accordingly. Those changes of not winning however accumulate and change of you winning in the end is lower than you think.

And in your case, even if you would have found the winning tactic, i would try to find the main reason why you are playing the games you find less attractive. Fist thought that came to mind is that was doing that out of boredom and frustration. I needed to gamble and there wasn't anything interesting to gamble on, so i picked what i could find.

I don't think it will help you financially not to bet on them, but it might help you with self control in overall to look for the reasons why you are doing something you think you shouldn't. Because that would help you in many other ways as well, not only with gambling. Self improvement is something you can't get with money, you have to work for it and it's never easy. So i find it in many ways more valuable then money you win itself.

There is no place for ambitions in gambling or betting if someone views these activities as earnings, constant and positive. Although I believe that any person in a casino will be a loser and there is no escape from this. And the lucky ones only profit because they do not play in the casino for very long. This is a simple issue, is either you are addicted to placing bets, or maybe this is just one of the symptoms of addiction, you should check yourself properly to be sure you really know what you are doing.

Unsatisfaction, or never being satisfied with something and always wanting to do more even when it's crystal clear that the more you want to do won't benefit you in any way, but rather, bring loses, is a bad sign of addiction, or a symptom of someone becoming addicted to that thing he or she does..

So, you definitely will have to check yourself and learn how to begin to pull yourself back from placing bets you know you don't need, this saves you money, and also helps you to regain control of yourself again.

Well, there are two methods that i follow to avoid things like that happen to me:

1.- Have a clear goal. If you have a clear goal when you are gambling, then you will know when to stop, and that way you can wager until hit that goal or lose all.

2.- Leave a small amount after the withdraw. If we are on a lucky streak we will always want to wager more, and that's why it's important to leave a small amount on the casino when we place the withdrawal, something between 3% and 10%. And wager that, most times we will lose, but if the luck is on our side we can make some nice profit again.
