What else do you collect?

rarity is being collected. As soon as X is secured - we move in to Y and so on.

When you have 20 of 20 - whats next? I guess we expand on the collection but
maybe keep it related to the main category.

In my case with the LP's - I dont actually know what the target is to have a complete
collection of Irish labelled LP's in the traditional genre. Maybe after that
collection is complete ^{which is highly unlikely} I could start
collecting all the Cassette tapes from the US Shanachie label?

Hunting down your treasures definitely gives you a little bit more of a personal attachment to them. When I’m done collecting the autographed version of these cards I will also try to finish collecting them in PSA10 grades. After that, who knows… I have a Mile Tyson autographed Punch Out photo to go with my Ricky Vaughn autographed jersey. Maybe I need to get a place with a Man Cave to display them in next.

When I joined the Navy my family tossed my 2000 comic book collection away.

NOTHING WAS PRISTINE. But it likely was worth 3000 when tossed out and maybe 15,000 or so now.

Outside of stacking precious metals and numismatic I enjoy collecting Duck and goose calls. Love the functional art of them. Different materials used, carved, different sound qualities. Also love hunting so they work well together.

I'd be pretty pissed about that!

I collect and trade antiques, mostly silver and antiquities(roman coins, artefacts, stone-age tools etc).
I mostly hunt them on antique and fleamarkets in southern Belgium/northern France. Am working on setting up my own smeltery, purificating and pouring own silver bars and rounds.

When I moved away from home I too left my most prized possessions behind thinking they would be safe. My parents threw my stuff away and said they thought if I wanted it I would’ve taken it. I’m still recovering from it to be honest.

I used to collect these silver coins that promised me a seat or a sliver of a fraction of some bitcoin mining rewards.     Then the people selling them said they were mining but maybe there weren’t mining.   And then they said at least one miner was plugged in.  Then I wondered if it was an S9 or a S19 or an S21.    Maybe it’s a space heater.   No one really knows.   I’m just glad that it has something to do with mining.  For all we know we bought into a pick axe in someone’s garage.   Might be cool to see some actual rewards or the ability to justify a premium on melt.    Seems crazy but I bet someone might be into that.
