What else do you collect?

I think we pretty much all collect Bitcoin memorabilia.  Pez dispensers, garbage pail kids, etc...  I'm curious if there is other cool stuff out there I should be collecting that isn't related to Bitcoin.

For example, I've recently discovered (my friend has a card collecting podcast) that I can buy all the missing baseball cards from sets I was collecting as a kid for next to nothing on eBay.  So I've been completing my childhood side quests of completing sets and collecting all those expensive cards I coveted as a kid but couldn't afford.  Shocking how cheap they are now...  My favorite ever baseball card set is so cheap now, I decided to collect them all in PSA10 condition and hang them on my wall.

I also collect Tesla products (perfume, torches, etc.), and specifically Cybertruck products (hot wheels are awesome).  Then there is of course silver and hyper inflated fiat currency (100 billion dollar bills)...

What else is cool that my peers collect because they like it?

I collected gold and silver knives. Used to have a gaint collection, I had over 100 at one point.  Now I only have about 10 - kept the best of the best.

Nice! A couple of my favorite things, knives and precious metals. I collect knives as well (blades would probably be a better description), but I prefer them in carbon steel. I have a katana and a khukuri that I’m particularly fond of. I also own the first Bitcoin themed knife ever made. There was a news article published about it at one point but I lost it over the years. I don’t even want to think about how much BTC I paid for it, but it’s cool.

Despite not having enough space on the shelves to showcase my keyboards, I keep collecting them ^{[even though most collectors prefer to keep their collection in great condition, I regularly switch & use them (for some reason, it gives me great satisfaction)]}. Last year, I started collecting CRT monitors, but I'm having a hard time finding larger ones that are in good condition and I'm planning to start collecting old Nokia phones.

I see maps on a few list. I do own a lot of maps, not because I collect them, but because I use them while researching and treasure hunting.

One of the most entertaining maps I have viewed would probably be the Hereford Mappa Mundi (cloth of the world) . Its a medieval aged map that has depictions of weird creatures and where they live in the world. Thats one I don't own. I think the original is very large. It would be a fun one to find a copy of and framed it on the wall.

Plenty of videos to find on youtube about it. I think the History Channel or Discovery did a decent documentary on maps a decade ago. It was one of the maps in the documentary. If i find a link and post it here.

I'm into fragrance collecting

I guess you could call me a fragrance collector as well.  I bought the Boring Company Burnt Hair perfume and have it stashed away in the box it was shipped in still.  Haven't touched it yet.  No idea why I decided to buy it or what I'm going to do with it, but it does give me the title of fragrance collector, so that's cool.

My perfect graded baseball card set is coming along nicely.  I've managed to procure 7 of the 20 cards I'm looking for in PSA10 quality.  Definitely the worst investment I'll ever make, but I can't wait to see them framed on my wall.
