Naivety and gullibility are characteristics of honest and sincere people. Such people assume that everyone has an honest attitude like them and act accordingly towards others. I would rather say that it is a good trait, even though you portray it in a bad light.

He didn't need to verify anything. He was simply explaining to someone why your trust ratings don't show up as Default Trust (DT).

I think new users should be able to question anyone's motives if they feel like it.

I agree on that , that they should be able to make question about it , but the msot of them dosnt care or understand it.
