How much money do you have to lose before gambling is a problem?

The items that you listed there ; Relationship, Jobs, Mental and physical state, and others, can still relate to money. I already heard lots of news where a wife broke up with their husband because the husband lose all their money in gambling. Then there are those workers that has no more motivation for work because they already lose all their salary in gambling. The amount of money actually matters.

It is like if we lose a lot of money, that can also be an indication that we have been gambling too much, and it is a problem that should be combated as early as possible before the situation gets worse and affect other aspects of our lives.

It depends on your gambling lifestyle, some might see gambling activity as a problem because they don’t win as expected meanwhile winning or losing has nothing to do with few yet this can be considered as common problem we face while gambling, it might not be disturbing to an extend. It's business for them (the casino owners) but yet they are still the one responsible for gamblers losses because of the house edge which makes it possible for gamblers to lose more than they can win. The only un-debatable case here is that  gamblers have the choice to gamble or not, the casino does not force them to gamble. If you choose to gamble, you are already aware and willing to accept what the outcome would be. It's also the gamblers decisions to know how much they are willing to lose for gambling not to be a problem for them.

However, for many players this can become the very trigger for the game, because they sit and think where to find money while there is no temporary work, and then for some reason a "brilliant idea" comes that you can earn money in a casino. Although of course they reassure themselves that they will immediately leave if they win. You have spoken well buddy, but I want to Ask This question directly to you, don't you think gambling as an act  is a problem? Less assuming gambling never existed in the first place, do think people will get addicted to it and start gambling irresponsibly? Note am not against gambling because I do gamble even this night I have stake some cash on tomorrow games.

I agree! Gambling becomes a problem not just when money is lost, but when it starts hurting your life, affecting your daily routine in other ways. If it affects your health, job, or even relationships, then it's already a serious issue, even if you haven't lost much money.

It's about the impact on your life, not just your wallet.

This, amount differs to person's availability to generate income (job), state of life, etc. thus it differs the amount they bet but worst thing to happen is when gambling start to destroy your self and your life. Financial problem usually spreads to other aspects like relationship especially when you stay in the casino for a longtime and you have missed Birthdays and anniversaries and this could turn mentally when your wife now has to nag everytime you live the house.

When a gambler loses some money at the beginning of his bet, he only loses some money which can be recovered, but when a gambler loses control over gambling, it can be called a big loss. Because if he conducts uncontrolled gambling, he will face big losses in the long run even if he does not realize it temporarily. At some point, he may even become addicted to gambling. If as a gambler, any such sign is caught in his gambling, then he should try to come back from that situation quickly. Even if he loses a little in the short term, it is much less than the long term loss.

If the sign is seen, then it should be prevented from turning into a big problem. It's when you don't pay attention to those signs that it will turn into a problem that will affect you. Just like you said, those who want to get financial gain from gambling will turn a blind eye to signs that are very visible stating that their involvement in gambling is affecting them; they will rather want to look at those as an opportunity rather than a problem.

When it comes to gambling, I don't think it's about how much money you have lost...but how you have lost it!! Let's look at it from his way, say you have some emergency funds stored somewhere, and because of gambling you use this money and lose..this type of gambling tells you that you have crossed the line and you need to reevaluate your gambling habits.
