Finally I0Coin on FreiExchange is starting to build again!

Someone came along there to help build IXCoin, quite well I think, we got that buy-side strengthened a lot; maybe it is them spreading out to also work on I0Coin now, I don't know, but the help is welcome.

Building strong buy-sides is very important!

Both still have a long long way to go in height (price) of buy-side of course but building strongly rather than building thin easy-to-trash-by-dumping columns of buy-offers is probably best.

You can see how far they both have to go just to catch up with their calculated values calculated from their treasuries by looking for example at the Asset values expressed in BiTCoins (BTC) page linked from the main Digitalis Assets statistics page...

Spot market inefficiency is really showing lately; lack of active arbitrageurs has somehow led I0Coin's price on the Stellar platform to be about four times the price of IXCoin while at the same time over at FreiExchange IXCoin's price is about twice the price of I0Coin!

An arbitrage opportunity for some intrepid soul, maybe?

It is far too complicated to have any arbitrage between Freiexchange and the Stellar platform due to having to first tokenise i0coins or ixcoins to allow trading on the Stellar platform and then not being able to simply withdraw either ixcoin or lumens (XLM) from there to Freiexchange.

The smartest option for both the ixcoin and i0coin community or any devs about is to petition Freiexchange to have a Lumens (XLM) market for both i0coin and ixcoin on their exchange.

In fact this could actually be the best thing ever to happen to both coins to solve the liquidity and trading volume issues that having only an obscure exchange to trade on has caused.

That is my proposal.

An excellent proposal, let us hope FreiExchange administration follows these threads or simply arrives at the same conclusion independently, as they seem historically to have been very good about actually having an interest in the coins they choose to list. They might even be serious holders of them themselves for all I know, how else to best afford endless years of retaining listings of coins that some even accuse from time to time of being "dead"? Smiley

Do please go ahead and petition them! Smiley

Listing XLM probably makes a lot of sense for them but they might not have at hand the relevant code; if they do obtain or create the relevant code though listing XRP too would become feasible for them too though I am far from sure I'd feel great about that corporate giant invading our nice cozy little community exchange. Smiley

On Stellar I0Coin and IXCoin have both had somewhat steady but very small action, probably mostly part of the "spend 1 to 3 Lumens each on 1 to 3 of the Galactic Milieu assets each 1 to 3 days" experiment (see for example https://peakd.com/galactic-milieu/@a-r-crypto/its-like-making-an-instant-30percent-on-everything-i-put-in).

It does look though like not a lot of players are solidly keeping up with that experiment reliably over the long term. Hopefully though as the (meta)game slowly but surely gains players more and more of them over the long term will at least give the experiment a try for at least a while each. And who knows, maybe some of them will get together with other I0nians and/or Ixians and start building both coins stronger in a more serious way...

I think both I0coin and ixcoin will naturally be worth many thousands of dollars for collectors in the future along with a few other alts. What do you think?

They both should be worth far more than litecoin right now for their utility value alone is what I think!

It's open source code so you should be able to do this as far as I know but not sure if anyone here would be willing to help you fork it. Both i0coin and iXcoin were experimental coins created for a purpose and they seem to have served that purpose by still being running today. Basically these coins are like a ham radio or something useful in the event of a crypto apocalypse from what I gather.

An interesting bonus both IXCoin and I0Coin turn out to have from being such ancient coins with such ancient association with the Galactic Milieu...

It turns out that they date back so very very far that they were already in place and set up before the rule about General Hosting Corp aka Galactic Holding Corp "shares" could only be held by Civilisations.

However it came about, the fact is that both IXCoin and I0Coin have, counting toward their treasuries, one thousand "shares" of GHC each.

As I write this post, the Latest Rates include-file shows sGHC as worth 355021.13314640 DeVCoins, which by dividing by the shown value of IXCoins, 643.27608417 DVC, comes out to 551.89543320 IXCoins each, or by dividing by the shown value of I0Coins, 692.04160209 DVC, comes out to 513.00547839 I0Coins each.

The benefits though are far more than the simple value added to the treasury, because the implication is that both IXCoin and I0Coin do in fact have at least one "Civilisation" each.

It also means that both are empowered to obtain from General Hosting Corp MUDgaard player-accounts, and in fact that table of prices for such accounts probably needs to be expanded to show prices in IXCoin and prices in I0Coin.

Basically no-one knows what Civilisation or Civilisations IXCoin and I0Coin are the currencies of, but such Civilisations apparently do exist "out there somewhere".

It also means that the impression generally held that the Ixian family on the MUDgaard server probably got their player-account(s) from the galactic United Nations, is presumably wrong, that in fact they got such account(s) directly themselves.

This information was actually uncovered by followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Paladins Noodles and Noodly and the priest Noo, in the course of their own investigations into setting up a Civilisation and/or obtaining MUDgaard player-accounts.

Noo is currently seeking to make contact on the Crossfire-RPG Play-to-Earn server (Server1.Knotwork.net) with the quetzalcoatl Ixi, the Ixian representative on that server, both to broach the idea that Ixalovh (The Noodly One's name on that world apparently) would be a good official deity for the Ixians and to see about obtaining, through the Ixians, a MUDgaard player-account.
