There have been several merit sources take extended breaks from the forum in recent months, resulting in the actual merit from merit sources decreasing. It may be a good time to do another recalculation of sMerit that each merit source has and consider adding additional sources. 

There are still many pending applicants in line before my application, Don't know how it works, does he choose them randomly or based on the user's merits distribution activities. But still hoping a reshuffling and addition of new applicants as soon as possible.

My best guess is merit sources are chosen based on their merit distribution activities, and by how much theymos trusts the person. I am almost positive it is not random, and I would doubt it is in a first-come-first-serve order either.

Here I agree with you not time for some changes in merit source critaria because currently many local and other boards facing some serious problems regarding this many merit soureces are not giving as they need and some are on vacations so now its Theymos give some time and check all merit sources those are on good they still in and others need to cut with new entries because too many members are feeling not good just because of this all.

And all these years I have been thinking asking for merit is not allowed in this forum  If it is okay, I would also request some generous source to give me some merits too.
I am not much active though but I had job where I have to spend almost half of my day.

Asking for merit like this is not allowed now you are hero member and you can do some effort for this just done good posts surely you will have somer merit very quickly and if you cannot give time then try to do this in very little time as well but you have to do some good effort for gaining merits otherwise live without them.

irfan_pak10 deserve to be the merit source. He has been doing good work for the community and also for the local Pakistani board.
I hope he will be considered as the merit source in the next allocation of merit sources by Theymos.

In deed, he deserves it. His contribution for the Local community is outstanding without any doubt. Hoping Theymos will consider him as merit source for next upcoming Merit source allocation meeting.

I think you are right because submitting application for Merit source just like that, without categorically state the reason while you have to be a Merit source i think bitcointalk controller been theymos will not pay attention to such application, as you said here that they have to quote at least 10 recent post that have not to been merited but it deserved Merit , is one of criteria theymos will look at to accept application, secondly looking at a board that Lacks Merit while people are making a positive contribution and submit and write the reason while such board deserve a Merit circulation or distribution because i notice that is not all the board people merit.

Being trusted does not mean that you will become a merit source. You need to follow the procedure and only then your application for merit source can be considered. Then again it depends on theymos, if he approves or deny it.

Now, you must evaluate high-quality posts and only give merit to members who truly deserve it. Beware of merit beggars who will contact you to trick you  into giving them merit when they don't deserve it.

Thank you for your warm wishes. I'll do my best to find deserving posts and give them merits. I think there is a thread in the reputation board "Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source", ill follow that more actively instead creating a new one.
