Regardless of the poor educational system in Naija we no fit undermine the important of education to the citizens, leave the fact say we go school with the hope to get a job only in this part of the world, education is for self-actualization. No be to get a a job but na to change your thinking and ability to deal with challenges around you.

But we see education as means to earn a living and when the desire no  come naso people go say education na scam, but no matter what education they necessary for we country.

No be lie say of the the responsibilities of a working Government na to create jobs opportunities for her citizens. But, me I go say, e no really dea necessary for the Government to provide jobs for every graduate. See eh, if every graduate carry mind and body rely on government provided jobs, e go hinder the growth of a dynamic economy.

If not be say most of our graduates no really dea go school, as a graduate way you be, e de essential to recognize the importance of self reliance and entrepreneurship.

Education is very important, regardless of what our government have made it seem like, it shouldn't be undermined and atleast everyone should have a basic education to be able to read and write, for instance if most of us here were not educated I don't think we would've been able to operate in this forum and enjoy the benefits that comes with it, it would've been very tough to understand without education.

Education doesn't guarantee one to be financially successful it would only guide you to the path that would lead to success, education is never a scam the real scam is not having a basic education atleast, yes education is highly important for a nation building cause without it their would be no doctors, lawyers, engineers and other professional occupations.

I was in a car yesterday returning back from work, I over heard one man complaining very bitterly that he doesn't know where this country is heading anymore. That he got 3 children and he have tried his best he worked very hard to make sure his first son and daughter becomes full time graduated from anything concerning school side, says but it seems his efforts was wasted cause up till now the children haven't gotten good work with the good grade they had.

They have applied to many companies most of them will tell them to bring money before starting, and it's not a little amount of money that you'll just wake up and get it immediately, then his daughter had the chance to work as a government worker but one man with a big stomach was asking her to sleep with him before anything else. That he wish those times he was wasting time working so hard to trained them in school he would have rather paid for them to learn an and work.

But I saw it in news earlier this day's that the president tinubu is giving 5000, NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICES CORPS(NYSC) you can check it more on here
https://nairametrics.com/2024/05/14/fg-to-empower-5000-entrepreneurial-nysc-members-with-n10-million-each/

And with this it seems school it's important in Nigeria, cause if it's not important the FG wouldn't have be focusing to give out such amount out to the (NYSC). I know their are so many graduates at there not working yet. Do we still believe the government are going to do something about this work issues? Why not just be like as you're graduating you're working directly no wasting time. Wouldn't it be nice that way? I say make I try explain my mind. Waiting you got to talk about this issue?
. Education na important something wey everybody suppose go through am. But again, the country wey we find ourselves inside don come make am look like say e no important. Now when person come out from university, serve the soul called fathers land, em suppose get work then take life from there but no way. U go dey see some yeye company wey go say them need graduates with how much salary… the once wey dey pay better money don come turn “man know man” na why most person prefer to kuku dey house, find there belle either by learning a still or dem enter into one business. I wish say our government go fit arrange this country well before na better country wey we from so. Last last, education no be scam because everybody need am, no be only for work purposes oh, e go also make you sabi many things. Na here I go gba break.

Presently in Nigeria alot of youth see education as a waste of time. Alot of youths don't want to go to school anymore are they to be blame I don't think so they are lots of graduate with no job surviving with a skill probably they learnt before going to school or learnt after graduation and that's the major reason it's important to get a skill in Nigeria. But, Above all education is still very important

Education is still very important to people who value it, and it is only those who value it that are still pursuing it.
It isn't compulsory that everyone must go to school, some persons were not meant to go to school thats why we have handwork and business. Those who are not capable of going to school should consider doing something else. Afterall, wherever that is been done that puts food on your table is work.
I believe the reason Op brought up this topic is simply because of the rate of unemployment in the country, so many person have finished their school, but still find no job, so the ones who had not gone will certainly get discouraged.

No don't say that, don't say some people weren't meant to go to school because you're making it sound like being educated is meant for some type of people while others are supposed to be Illiterate. You can be business orientated or focused on getting a handwork that you'll use to take care of yourself but don't say you won't go to school. School isn't what'll give you a good source of income, schools are for making you to be educated because there's a difference between a graduate and someone that didn't go to school.

Education is still important for Nigerian but it's no longer what's going to give you a source of living because the workforce is now concentrated with lots of graduates. We can combine going to school and learning a handwork, it's not necessary to learn one and forget about the other. You're giving yourself an edge when you have both education and a good skill. Education makes you to be more exposed to life and this give you more opportunities.
