Most gamblers, especially those who are unable to control themselves and their emotions well, usually only stop gambling when they have won the big prize they were hoping for. They will only stop when they no longer have any money to deposit. And if we are responsible enough when gambling, then this should not happen. We must know exactly when to stop and when to start. Gamblers who know how to control their emotions can stop gambling at any time, regardless of whether they win or lose. For me personally there is no certain time which make me to stopped gamble because all of it depend on the situation which i faced because if i am luck one thing for sure i will attempts not too greedy because this behaviour can lead me to lost all of my money so if i have faced positive condition usually i didn't chasing huge profit and usually 50% from my initial money is enough to make me stop

And if i have no luck usually i will gamble until i lost all of my bankroll so that's why i never gamble using big money because i don't want to gets huge lost and for every gamble i only spend less than $10 but the most important is i never blame the casino for my loses and i do never believe superstition

If that happens, the right thing to do would be to stop playing and spend that money, but there are many players who don't do this, they just keep playing and jeopardize those earnings some lose everything, lose what they earn, and lose more money.

Yes because it has Happened to me that I stop because I lost Everything and there is no point in blaming the casino , I blame myself for not having Stopped in time.

I only stop playing when I lose a lot of money, I don't care if I play x number of times , if I lose what I have to spend I stop and try not to continue.


Regarding the recovery of losses, it is something that should never be done,It is not advisable because you play with need, you play with a lot of pressure and if the results do not come out well, we get stressed and lose more It is not intelligent to do something like that.

It depends, if we refer to what I have in my casino account it would be 5x per deposit. I usually deposit about $50, and if I hit $250 or more with a big win, I withdraw everything over $50 and leave that money to continue playing.

There is no point for me to continue anything at all as long as the signs of a bad luck for that day is visible, therefore, stopping is the best option is C, In as much as you are able to see through and your feelings does work for you, it is better to quit for that day and continue another day to save yourself from unnecessary loss and ending your bankroll and then start regretting your loss or start chasing them.

Feeling that there's nothing after losing in a such streaks better to follow your instinct in stopping, it may stop the bleeding on your bankroll as most wise gambler said, there's always another day to play, no need to push if you feel that you'll going to lose or you already reached your target budget to spend for your gambling better to lose some portions of your bankroll than become aggressive and lose it all.

As long as my bankroll is intact, I can stop anytime, but if there is dent in it, then I may wipe out my remaining bankroll in trying to break-even but once entire bankroll is wiped out too, I'd no longer chase losses from hereon, and we call it done and dusted, and start a fresh on some another day, so option 'b' for me I guess — you didn't have to write "...and then blame the casino" though — not everybody does that.

I have that feeling of no return when I was playing baccarat and the spectators behind me was cheering for me. I get the feeling they don't want me to stop so I go on betting until I lost it all. The only consolation was that they are tapping my back after the game telling me I made their day.

I can say that among the choices, it is when I depleted my bankroll or hit my target amount.  But is just to stop, but not to the point of no return, because no returning means not to gamble anymore.

Whenever I start my gambling session, I always have a target amount, which is the upper limit and a bottom limit, which is emptied bankroll.  Since I have allocated an amount (an amount that I can afford to lose) for the session, I just play without worries until I hit my upper limit or my bottom limit.  If any of those were met, I would stop and play again another day.

In general, every new gambler will stop when their gambling budget runs out, regardless of the amount. And if they are in a winning streak, I think no one would want to end their gambling session right away. Besides that, regardless of the budget or whether they're winning or losing, a gambler might also end their session simply because the time they allocated has reached its limit.

In my opinion, those two things are the main reasons someone would end a gambling session, not to quit gambling forever, but to stop and come back another day. As for people who believe in superstition, I think they never truly understand gambling. If superstition really worked, many casinos would have gone bankrupt and shut down by now.

A topic widely discussed on this board. First of all, your opinions and options are your limits of thinking on the subject, or perhaps it's what you think after years of mistakes. That's the mindset of gamblers, including me. It would be hypocritical of me not to admit it. I gamble for fun, which doesn't mean I don't want to win, but I certainly want to win big. I have a disciplined approach to gambling, so I don't overdo it. While I do win small amounts quite often, I often find myself wanting big wins. Although I do want big wins, I can't force them because luck hasn't given me any, so I often withdraw my small winnings.
Everyone who gambles naturally desires to win, especially big wins, which are the ultimate goal for gamblers. However, we must be mindful of our own behavior and self-control to avoid losing control while gambling, which can complicate matters.

We all want to win, a hypocrite that only tells that they want to gamble isn't for real. Even if the chance of winning money, they hate to admit it.
While we will never know if we can win at most times because this is gambling. Sometimes, we have to accept that if there is a need to return, we'd do.
But if we're solely defeated and our money have been in total loss and we can't recover it yet, better to accept that and there is no point to return yet.

Ultimately, the victory we seek in gambling is a normal thing that we must recognize from the start, but that doesn’t mean that when we hope for victory, we forget important things such as self-control and responsibility in the gambling we do. Firstly, it is not entirely clear what is being discussed here. It could be casino games, sports betting or card games such as poker. But one of the sentences indirectly mentions a casino, so let's assume that it is a casino.
Also, there are very few answer options here. For example, you can stop not after doubling your winnings, but, say, increase them by 3 or 4 or 5 times. Why not? In fact, you can increase your winnings by 10 times, it is quite possible.
However, the starting conditions are not described in the topic, and they are important. It is one thing when you start with 1000 dollars and quite another when with 1 dollar. But I would still choose the first answer option, it is the most pleasant.)

I didn't include chasing your losses as obviously you might to continue.

Typically I stop gambling when I no longer am enjoying myself, I have run out of free time, or a better opportunity for fun has popped up.  If I only stopped gambling when I doubled my money I would probably spend the rest of my life at a slot machine.  I don't think having goals tied to profits is a good idea when you're gambling, because you never know when you could go on a losing streak.  Forcing yourself to continue losing until you hit an impossible goal just seems like poor planning.

When I reach my limit, I'll stop immediately. I'm not the type of gambler who will force myself to continue gambling even though I'm on a losing streak. I won't believe that I'll win another round if I try, because I think many gamblers get caught in that trap where they always try until they win even though they're on a losing streak. and that's why so many people become impulsive gamblers because they don't set limits on their gambling and keep going even when they can't afford it anymore.

Doubling the money will definitely make me stop playing. It's not uncommon for me to stop playing even with just small wins. At least there are a few gaming sessions that have satisfied me. Sometimes I can spend all the money in my bankroll and then stop, it all depends on the situation. I don't set specific targets. I just think, when I win, I can enjoy it. But to decide not to gamble anymore, it seems that it's not for now. I still enjoy my gambling.

Halving my money would do it for me, probably not totally but for that day I think I would assume its a bad luck day and not commit further time to it.   Ideally I would hope to avoid reaching a hard cut off or bad forced hand situation, play long enough but with low enough losses that time comes to turn around the luck.
  I do think some longevity helps fixes luck in whatever equation of balance that is ongoing, but also often think its better to just cease and desist for that day to return the next etc.
