When gambling I do usually stop when I have gotten to my limit. Although there are days I don't have to exercise that much patience till I get to my limit but by having several losses at a go I just withdraw from placing more bets because it's kind of obvious that the day doesn't look favourable to me and if I should push it further I could do incur more losses cleaning up my bankroll. But if there's a feeling of fun then I wouldn't mind carrying on but never exceeding my limit.

I am the option C gambler currently, because I have a gamble budget and in order for you to practice a good budget management, you have to limit your risk by stopping after some consecutive losses, so that you don't go beyond your limits. I was once the option B gambler but it didn't go well for me. Instead, I lost a huge amount of money and got addicted.

My point of no return might be the letter A.
The problem is that I often never double my bets. 90% of the time, I lose my bets. I get my losses back in 10% of the wins, and in the 0.5% I manage to make a small profit.
I hope to make a big win one day, but I think that's a rare event for me!
One key thing is to never chase losses, the most common mistake and the one that inevitably leads to a total loss of control.

I stop gambling or betting when I win like 1.5 odds to 3 odds. 1.5 to 2 odds in sport betting while 2 to 3 odds in gambling on casino games. I do not have two thinking at this point, withdraw the money until next week.

The second reason that I can stop gambling or betting is when all my money has be exhausted and I have no more money on my account on the gambling site. I do not deposit more money but just stop gambling or betting at that moment.

Everything is simple for me, I have my own list of rules that I follow. Regarding cashing out winnings, yes I usually withdraw when I double my deposit. As for when to stop, that’s also simple, I have limits that I stick to. Regardless of how lucky my day is, I place a few bets for a specific amount, and after that, my gambling day is over. Make your own list of rules, and it will make everything much easier for you in gambling.

I have several reasons to stop when gambling, 1). I don't feel like gambling anymore, 2) lost all my funds, 3)satisfied enough with the profit I got from gambling, 4) when I think luck isn't on my side(meaning ridiculous losing streak), 5) have something else to do. There are more, but I think it'll be pointless to list them all. Overall, I have a lot of reasons to stop gambling.

It's hard to pick just one answer here, but definitely, if we win some money, then it's time to quit. Maybe others might have a big target, but your option a sound good to me. Or at least double++ is a good point of no return to me. Option d, I have experience this but it's only applicable if you let's say have almost lost all your money and down to your last 10%-20% and so you I don't feel good already and I have accepted my fate that I'm going to lose that night. But lo and behold, I won some money and then when I total it, I'm about break even. So I will have this mindset that at least I didn't lose all my money and I was able to bounce back and break even, so I'm all good. I learn this from a gambler that I used to play with way back in 2022-2023.

When I lose 3 straight, I know the luck is on the 4th promise, this is real for me sometimes.

Sometimes, but most of the time I only stop when i have more than 5x, and leave some money on the roll again..

Point of no turning back is what i have, When the bank is 20% or lower i will buy a bonus spin for that amount and let it all go or win.

Never. Until i have dreams that need money - i would continue the game. The problem is to combine with the main job, but i think that it is possible to play seriously few month in a row and make a break after it for few months.
Sport betting brings me money, positive emotions, so i don`t see any reasons to stop except fatigue.

From all the options, I don't understand why someone need to stop when break even point? you deposit, you spend time, but you stop when you back to initial bankroll, I don't see the point.

I would add option E. when mother or spouse arrive.

It really depends on the mood I'm in on the day and what I'm playing. If I feel like playing the casino for a bit I might decide how much of my wallet is going in before I stop (maybe 50%) and sometimes decide to stop if I ever get above the starting point from a big win. I definitely think trying to double your money in one session is greedy and destined to fail, so better to avoid that. With sports betting I'll do something similar and maybe spread around a quarter of my balance on a few different bets that look enticing (on horse racing) or one big better on lower value odds like NBA. Superstition doesn't really play any part, but if the mood starts to swing downwards then that is probably a good time to quit.

I am not specific to any of those options all the time am gambling, any day I go gambling it's usually any of those habits I would likely adopt at random and it doesn't make me less discipline perhaps am always gambling with the amount I can afford to lose. I don't wish myself bad luck while gambling but I always have the mindset that I don't care if I just lose the money and then takey leave, while sometimes too I go with the internation of doubling my balance and leave. Gambling don't work the way we expect, so I just expect and stick with anything that works out.

Having the thoughts of doubling and you end up losing can be hurtful that's why you must not just believe that you can double up.

I don't have any such definite things in my gambling sessions, it all depends on the conditions.

- There's a condition where I'm only looking to double my bankroll.
- There's a condition where I'll stop if I lose the balance from the first deposit.

If you ask a gambler when you will stop, he may not be able to give you the right answer and he will continue to gamble twice as much because he does the opposite of what he is told to do and he will continue to gamble. No one stops even when he has the opportunity to stop because he gambles more to win. The statistics show that brave gamblers are those who have reached that point.

I set a limit every session for both wins and losses. Whichever comes first, I try really hard to stop myself from going beyond it. Although I can stick to it, stopping once the limit is reached is still not easy for me, even now. Cursing the casino is normal coz of frustration. We’re human, and it’s natural to feel that way when we lose. I see a lot of that in the chat. But blaming the casino to the point of demanding your losses back is something else. Like that one guy who even made a thread just to rant, not realizing he only made himself look like a fool.

I can't be sure about this, as it also depends on my mood. But the important thing is to be able to stop when you've lost. Chasing losses or trying to recover losses is a mistake in gambling. Whether you've lost or won, you should stop. Gambling for too long can trigger emotional turmoil, potentially leading to a loss of self-control.
When I first started gambling, I had a hard time stopping, especially when I was winning. At this point, I used to take advantage of this by placing high bets, but now I just do it in moderation.

I'll say B and D, but without the casino blaming part. If I've wasted all my money placing bets without it going my way it's my problem, not the casino's. If I've almost lost my whole bankroll and I'm left with a couple of dollars, then I'll personally keep going till I either manage to win at least some money back or lose everything in the process. If things have gone completely south, what's the point of saving your last $5-10? The reward of risking this last bit of money is far greater than the risk involved.

Without blaming anyone, I will stop if I realise that I am consistently exceeding my bankroll and losing alot of money which is beginning to have a negative effect on my mental health and my general wellbeing. Yea, there is no motivation anymore to gamble further, so it's best to do the right thing before it's too late.

Even with this reason to stop, quitting gambling can be one of the toughest decisions to make for some gamblers. Especially gamblers who have won before and are still trying to win again or for gamblers who have already lost alot and are trying to recover some or all what they've lost.

I only stop when I have reached my limit for the day and regardless of wether I'm winning or losing, I try to put a stop to it at least for that day so as not to get myself involved in excessive gambling that will end up talking up all the ones I've already won. Being a superstitious gambler or waiting till you've lost for a certain number of consecutive times would likely make you loose more before you eventually stops either temporarily or for a long time.

Emotion at the time of gambling also plays it own role to keep one all glued to gambling regardless of your plan regarding your point of no return. It's just your ability to manage your emotion when it comes hard on you that will help you manage how vulnerable you are to continuous gambling without control.
