However, one must be careful to know which coin or token to hold because not all token or coins are worth holding. That's no guarantee. Holding a coin you've trusted for years requires constant monitoring of the projects they're working on and their ongoing development. If you think about Terra Luna, you might regret it. For example, FTT from FTX was incredibly trustworthy and provided excellent service to the community, but its developers were problematic, and their vision and mission were misaligned, leading to the project's demise.

Besides Bitcoin or other less decentralized platforms, you should pay attention to the development of their developers. This will make investing in altcoins much safer. Worse still, most altcoins struggle to reach their ATH levels if held for too long. Don't expect that.

Terra Luna incident is the worst reminder that people should not trust those altcoins they think trusted. Since anytime those worst situation might happen again on other project.

But if they really want to diversify their investment since they want to have other investment aside from Bitcoin then they better choose Ethereum since there's good chance that they can also earn more better fortune compare if they go with other alts around.

Still my current focus is with Bitcoin and didn't look for another coins for awhile.

The fact is that many newbies come up here to shill some new tokens seeking to want to hear from people’s opinion, but basically it is not how it seems most of the time, it is just their own way of advertising the project for the people here to know about it. They may not say they are a part of it or one of their project promoters, but what is most important of all is that, they should only do their own research before investing in any altcoins if they claim not to be a part of it. Even if you want to buy and hold an altcoin, do your own research to hold those that will last a long time with good potential of growth in the long term.

It's even better to stay out of altcoins make it we want to stay safe but for those that like accumulate different altcoins in the market for the profits especially memecoins that have crazy movement, it is better to invest in those ones that have good team.
When we invest in projects that have good team and amazing marketing patterns, investors are not going to regret when they put their money in such projects because of the way the price of the token they are holding is moving gradually without weakness.

If you do trade crypto it is more of a gamble then a investment I think. Because we will not always make profit if we trade out coins. Just buy the coins with fiat and hodl and do not think of how much crypto you have in your wallet.

It's a waste of resources to be busy keeping track of new altcoins that make their way into the market as most of the altcoins we term new altcoins are just a refurbishment of one that has failed by the same developers or perhaps after a successful rug and pull. Your guts could be right that he's promoting for personal gains or  has a stake in it.

Don't mind OP, this is another way of shilling GHO and bitget. There are numerous mention of this GHO and Bitget in the same post, one of the thread i read through also carried same information. They are paid shilling for the exchange and project, according to them GHO is a stable currency, why invest into what won't generate profit even if you hold for years. Any investment outside Bitcoin is risky, no matter how promising they look.

In trading, you will have mental stress and you will not be able to survive here unless you are a complete expert. Because you can never guarantee that the price of any coin will go in which direction. When you trade, you have to be under mental stress. And the solution is to just hold it. The coin you have referred here is a complete shit coin. If you trade with such coins, you will not take long to go bankrupt. Trading is already risky, and if you trade in shit coins, you will not be able to profit from it. Why are you not keeping an eye on the top coins? Trading with shit coins means you are greedy for quick profits. Which will always be harmful for you.

For mental health trading is best avoided, if you don't have the balls to handle the stress and anxiety that comes from it, most especially if you are trading the future market, you are constantly demanded to keep servicing your position if and when the market goes against your prediction this is what keeps most future traders on their tolls till it becomes almost a depressing hole for them in the end, so best thing to do is to avoid trading and options in to holding More of your assets instead of risking them for quick gains.

Newbies don't have the balls to handle it so I don't think they should go into trading for a start, some don't have what it takes to be patient and watch their portfolio grow talk more of trading that's full of heartbreak for a starter, for one to go into trading, they should have advanced knowledge of what the market is about and I don't think newbies do, even for people with advanced knowledge of the crypto market, trading is a very risky path but it's a choice for someone who got the balls to take the risk like you said, left for me I believe that buying and holding a very good coin is less riskier than trading.

It was obvious that his goal was only for the shilling with additional questions that even he already knew the answer to because he was the one who knew about the token.

Threads like this should be locked and there is no benefit other than promotion that is camouflaged with questions like beginners.
