Which $GHO token are you referring to? Is it this one - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gho/ ? If so, it is a stablecoin from Aave, so the price will not increase because it is equivalent to $1.

Well trading is not bad, bedside from what you have said above trading had been sustaining you for 5 years now, and your decision of just buying and hold is a Very good one, but  I will advise you not to be buying tokens, for most of them are just traps they don't have any potentials in them. instead buy bitcoin consistently to accumulate a good portion of it and then hold it for long term 4 to 10 years or longer to make reasonable profit, for bitcoin is a store of value with potential returns when you accumulate a good portion of it and hold for long term.

It seems more like away of shilling a token according to me. Yes, Buying and holding is ok, but what exactly are you buying or holding? A real coin that may give you some nice return in the future like Bitcoin, ETH... or a shitcoin, memecoin, pump and dump coin that has no future prospects? Just speculation and wishes.

I heavily invested in ICOs back in the day, and there is no one that can convince me that most of the shitcoins today will become great after 5 or 10 years. The earlier you know this, the better.

It took you five years to realize how confusing trading is; mine was just a few months. I stopped trading because it’s confusing and requires a lot of time and effort; I’d rather invest in coins or tokens with promising potential. I rely on my tools and analysis to help find me these coins or tokens, and so far, I’m doing well.
You need an extraordinary patient and to trust the process that your coin or token will deliver the potential that you expect.

You're gonna have mental problem eitherway if you are holding some random altcoins  .

If you really care about mental health you won't be holding altcoin like GHO, at the very least it should be ethereum, solana, or sui. Because at the very least these coin have massive liquidity that you won't even be afraid of getting rugged.
Ultimately you want to hold bitcoin, it's like holding gold, it gives peace of mind, never altcoins.

It’s good that you know your limitation; some traders refused, and they suffered a mental breakdown, but five years is quite too long to know how far you can go. Anyway, traders can quit when they reach their boiling points, and yours is five years.

The knowledge that you gained from trading for all those five years, you can use from researching the right coin to invest, so you're not really at a loss, it's better to hold and take time with yourself and preserve your mental health.

Trading is not for everybody so you need to understand that it is risky and that is a decision that anybody that wants to enter into it has to consider, if you don't have what it takes to trade you can always invest. It is better to buy and hold, wait for it to pump and be profitable anytime it does but you must consider a reputable cryptocurrency that has potentials to pump and reach ATH. You should know that holding altcoins are risky, most of them are scams so you need to DYOR and use small amounts because many never reach ATH again. It's a difficult thing when we talk about altcoins. 5 years is a very long lifespan for an altcoin, and it's rare for an altcoin to survive and/or maintain its hype. GHO does have a very good narrative, with creative writing and a decent vision and mission. However, for projects like this, there are already so many, we need to consider their long-term utility and the technology they offer to their consumers.

I think hype will only increase if it has more utility, not just about AAVE. They should collaborate with other protocols to expand their market.

Terra Luna incident is the worst reminder that people should not trust those altcoins they think trusted. Since anytime those worst situation might happen again on other project.

But if they really want to diversify their investment since they want to have other investment aside from Bitcoin then they better choose Ethereum since there's good chance that they can also earn more better fortune compare if they go with other alts around.

Still my current focus is with Bitcoin and didn't look for another coins for awhile.
