anyone heard that Johnriel Casimero is being Investigated for match fixing? according to the article I saw, the investigation was prompted because GAB(Games and Amusements Board) recieved emails requesting a review on Casimero's fight in Kyrgystan. the article says that the source of the suspicion is beacuse of a social media post made by Casimero's brother which is also his lead trainer(which has now been deleted) saying that this loss was part of a bigger plan to jumpstart Casimero's career.

I saw the video of Jason Casimero, but I don’t believe the accusations of match-fixing. His camp desperately needed a win to secure bigger fights down the line, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to throw this one away.
I think there was a bit of a 'lost in translation' moment—Jason isn’t the best when it comes to interviews. Don’t get me wrong, but I believe what he said wasn’t exactly what he meant to convey.

Anyway, if an investigation does happen, I’m confident they’ll come out clean.

Investigation is not even necessary as that fight is not even a championship fight, so few are interested in it. fix or not, it will not change the fact that Casimero is already out of his prime and he is going into the retirement period of his life. the earlier he accepts it the better, because the fans no longer have confidence in him becoming a champion again.

That's called 'fanatics', and I do agree that such fans are going to be biased, but you can't blame them. Maybe they really think that Casimero is still in his prime and could beat anyone he faces and doesn't have internal problems like what we have seen.

In any case, he should really face the reality that his career might be over. Done are the brandish and self proclaimed greatness as he is already old and his power might not be longer their when he moves up to another weight class.

Similar to what I have mentioned before, Johnriel Casimero has become an ordinary boxer because he is not anymore fighting to create a legacy. He is presently now only fighting for money. He is approaching the old age of 40 already. He will need to collect much money for retirement and take care of his family. This is the most important, I reckon.

This might also be because if you have children, they become the most important in your life and they become your legacy.
