came across this story and it made me realize how stealing to gamble is not only exclusive to petty crimes because it can be as big as stealing as a total of $2.6 million just to gamble. i think it is revealing how addicted this woman is to gambling because it seems like she had a good job, working at big bank and having access to gold bars and cash of the bank. may this be a reminder that addiction can hit anyone and we should all try our best to stay responsible. once you start losing, do not try to win back your money through the same strategies i.e gambling.
Idk why people keep doing this, maybe because they're addicted already which is the worst can happen to a human and digging their own lowest point. I also hate those people that borrows money from other people and will just use it for gambling. But again, those who have high positions in corp should be eliminated if they're affiliated to any gambling activities because they're prone to stealing or doing some unprofessional things. Gambling addiction can 'cause a lot of violence and crimes especially if the person is really craving for a gamble.

Addiction can only hit those who are not cautious of what they're doing, if you really know what you're doing there's no way that addiction will get to you. The rules is to gamble responsibly to avoid getting ourselves into trouble but those that will want to do the opposite will face the consequences, however addiction is not meant for a particular gender both male and female can get addicted to gambling that's if they fail to do the needful so I'm not surprise to hear this story. as a matter of fact I have come across similar issue like this before where a Lady use $100 from her husband's savings to gamble, and the husband went to report the issue to the church which I don't know how it goes with them so the best advice is to gamble responsibly to avoid getting ourselves into trouble.

I am actually surprised on how people do get addicted easily to gambling.. but wait a moment, why could she fall into addiction knowing too well she's doing a well paid Job and having access to money. Why must she she stole people money to gamble because most time I don't think is gambling addiction but a kind of dreaming big where she could be aiming at a specific amount but without knowing that things may not works as she planned. Yes, I know that gambling addiction is real but people should learn how to control themselves while gambling because most people could purposely do some things and term it to be gambling addiction meanwhile it is a deliberate acts.
