Salvador de Bahía is close and has probably the most attractive old city in Brazil. It's also known for its picturesque Carnival and interesting Afro-Brazilian cultural events, where a lot of local music styles can be heard. I haven't found accomodation accepting Bitcoin in Salvador, but there are several options to eat and other shops accepting the digital gold.
