Knowing your right in cryptocurrency starts by you having a better understanding of how most of the networks operates, the security tips needed, the coins to invest, the wallet to use and the strategies and risk to take in our interest on them, when we now all these, we can't be deceived or misleaded, some don't know why they needed privacy in crypto, that is why they may continue to have almost same or similar experience with those that depends on centralized institutions like banks.

Will we really call this a right or an obligation. In my own understanding I feel  right in crypto involves things like the freedom to own, transfer, or use our coins without censorship. Just like the permissions that come with the decentralized nature of blockchain.

For obligation, this is where  safeguarding our wallet and securing our private keys comes in . Unlike banks or centralized entities, no one is liable if we lose access or get scammed. So it’s less about entitlement and more about personal responsibility.

Scam is real and I don't want to get close to that again. Crypto is very complex and one need a very good understanding about cryptocurrency to buy and hold successfully. Mistakes will happen and I pray it does have much pain outcome even when it involves money. I am prepared to learn everything that will enable me to earn from cryptocurrency.

Anyone who says scam is not real is probably lucky they haven't experienced anything like that and I pray they don't because it can have some effect on victims that are being scammed and most of these effects can be very bad for them.
It's a good thing to be cautious and willing to learn before going into Cryptocurrency, it's the first step to take so as to know how to avoid scams and many mistakes in the cryptocurrency space. The truth is, no one is gonna penalize us for not taking responsibility for our seed phrase security so we have the right to do what ever we want with it but we are to bare the consequences.  Again no one would want to a situation where their hard earned money is stolen from them so, it's now a necessity that we put in our best to secure our seed phrase so it doesn't get the wrong hands. Backing up alone is not the enough we still need to ensure it is kept in a good serine environment where no one knows about it except for those we trust and are willing to share this information with.

Ledger is a hardware wallet, giving out the keys are never ledger 's fault, it's his family member's fault he lacked the knowledge of never sharing his keys with anyone. Now the sender of that mail may not be ledger but a scammer who used a mail address that looks ledger's support to send the mail across to him. I'm not exonerating ledger fully since the information about the wallet holder might have come from an internal data leak to a scammer.

because they can attack using any means, what if some chips have been installed on the ledger wallet that you bought, the best is not to buy ledger and consider other most reliable hardware wallets like trezor and the likes, privacy is no longer confide in the use of ledger, we should if they don't ask for our private information and have done something bad or more worse that we don't know at the point of using the wallet. 

Chips are always installed in hardware devices, it's buildup are made of many chips that function collectively. It's recommended to always buy hardware wallets from the official site to minimize the risk of getting compromised devices.

Your seed is completely yours. It is basically the lifeblood of a person's Bitcoin. If you neglect it, it can be lost forever. If you keep it online, there is a possibility of it being hacked at any time. Therefore, to avoid phishing or hacking, it is necessary to keep the seed phase secret. You have to be more aware of sharing any kind of information.
Again, if a family member or an unscrupulous friend or coworker gets it, then the Bitcoin can be lost forever. Again, if you keep it carelessly, a family member may throw it away thinking it is ordinary paper. Therefore, writing it on a metal plate and keeping backup copies in different places can be sure.

Yeah as a holder you should know your role when come to holding your asset , like you said like keeping your private key safe . Because any reckless move and your holding will suffer for it .

That's always the problem. They won't wait to seek clarification until they're scanned and they come back to the right person to ask. What stopped him from asking you first before sending out the seedphrase? I never get to understand that. I've seen instances of those who fell victim to this type of scam too who could've asked me and saved themselves this stress in the first place. Sadly, they never did. However, they surely learned that lesson in a hard way.

Yeah, it looks like magic when one's wallet is compromised and wiped off. You will see how the funds moved out but can't do anything about it. It's heartbreaking.
