I will say that majority of sport fans are currently gamblers without any data or statistics to show that. The reason why I said so, is because if I am watching a football match in a viewing center, most of the people watching the match brings out their bet slip to observe if the games are playing out according to their predictions or not. Some even discuss it within themselves.

I don't think it is up to 100% because we still have a lot of sports fans that do not gamble. Some are based on religious background and some on personal reasons but they are many that supports different sporting activities and even participate in some yet they don't gamble. I will not deny that lots of sports fans do gamble but the number is not as high as 100%. Supporting sports always draw individual closer to gambling but there is a limit to that.

That located betting store is where many people meet, that can't be an accurate data to back this up too, why not use your friends and maybe families as example? There are die hard football fans in my family, niece, cousins, uncles and they hate gambling more than anything.
One time we talked and one of them revealed to me that gambling is just like the matrix where everyone is a zombie hoping to atleast wake up one day, once you accept the drug you might forever stays a zombie.
At first I thought it was because of their religion but it is more than that, they expect all gamblers to become losers one way or the other, but I believe that the part they missed is the habit of becoming a responsible gambler even after everything, the believe it is impossible.

It has not really changed anything. I know a lot of people that are big fans to clubs and watch almost all of their matches and are still not betting. Some of them feel like betting on your team to win or lose is yourself not having confidence in them and that making money out of the outcome of their game is more prioritize to you which is not the quality of a good fan. People are even becoming fans of a particular club and watch more matches in order for them to be able to predict well the outcome of their bets and not most of them doing it the other way round. Fans buy season tickets for the entire season to attend every game of their team. I once looked at how much season tickets for the Premier League cost, by my standards, it's a lot of money. And you're right that every trip to a game involves additional expenses on food and drink, so it's not a small budget. Betting isn't just something fans are familiar with, I think everyone has heard about it at least once, but that doesn't mean they're ready to bet. For most it's something unfamiliar and risky, and they're not willing to spend their money on it.

Yes, and I think every lover of sports knows what gambling is even just by its name but I can say it is not all sports lovers who are into gambling. Gambling is something you engage in for fun and the entertainment of it. it is more of a side attraction thing than anything and it is not everyone who should ordinarily engage in it due to our differences as people. Gambling is mostly practiced by adventurous people in my believe, people who love to try out other things and not just watching sports alone and you will agree with me, it is not everyone who is adventurous in nature.
