I've noticed a lot of giftcard / BTC sales on the forums but it's not obvious what the exchange rate was at the time.

For example if a visa giftcard is worth $100, how much would you expect to pay for it?

Less than the current exchange rate, more than the current exchange rate?

Thanks-

I'd say probably assume if a gift card is worth $100, then you should expect to pay $100 in BTC.  A lot of gift card sellers seem to sell for a slightly reduced rate like $95 or $90 in BTC for $100 USD gift card.  Sometimes it can be lower.  Try negotiating Smiley  Just be careful of scammers.
