- Premined and proud of it... used so far to cover... pool losses/hacks and over 20million+ of lost coins on exchange hacks

Well, if it fails you can always get a job at the Federal Reserve or Bank of England. There is nothing comparable to a free lunch like a "Printy printy" bailout.

I had to LOL at that video and don't have another account with which to comment. Good post!

According to the OP, USDe is in the same category and I'm not here to defend or advertise our project. In fact, we are brainstorming daily on what can feasibly be done to separate our project from others, mostly out of the feeling of obligation to our community of believers in USDe's potential. I fully realize that a currency needs the right mix of ingredients of innovation and marketing to be successful, so we are on the same train, watching tens of coins get created with an alarming number of them created for outright criminal reasons.

Anyway - here and watching this thread. And equally annoyed by not having a system in place, which can be used to somehow verify devs' age, motive and identity.

My intention for USDe, in all honesty, was / is to become an original content equivalent of onion.com for fact-laden satire about monetary policies & corruption, which acts as a vehicle to promote USDe as an improvement over fiat currencies. Being that none of our DEVs are in a position to invest lots of BTC to make this happen ourselves, we're all working independently to find a private investment source. Anyway, I went off on a tangent and didn't mean to. Good thread and I agree with most points about how ____coins could be defined.

I'm pretty sure this one is not a shitcoin  Grin

people really pay exchanges to take their coins?  wow

It is no surprise to me it is a natural consequence of free trade capitalism.

For example:

There is a product I have. It is in demand. It is called a SHITCOIN. I have millions of said product.

I want to get my product to market. An exchange has a ready and willing list of buyers for my product.

So I pay the exchange a fee to list my coin which will increase sales of the product.

Overall the sales of the product minus the fee will leave me with a profit.

I win. The exchange wins. The consumer gets the product they desire.

There's a bit of a difference between bailing out the community rather than Wall Street mate. I don't really know what to say to anyone who thinks real people who had their money on an exchange deserve to have all their coins taken 'because they're stupid and trusting'.

It has been brought to my attention that my tone and general attitude twards what I deem to be shitcoins seems a little hostile and may hurt other coins I did not deem as shit so I would like to apologize to all those who have taken my rantings personal. I believe there is a general consensus that clone coins are bad for the crypto world but it seems that putting it on the forum is a no-no although I have not named any coin or developer.

Again I apologize if you were hurt by my agressive post.

But that doesn't make your coin any good

So... The trolls win?

Please do me a favor and look around the floor for your little mousie balls!

I say to the folks who have a problem with this thread, "If the shoe fits, wear it..." and if you wear it proudly enough, some people may just not notice it's a...

SHIT COIN!
