I set up my new R-Boxes yesterday and they are running fine... for about 1 hour. Then one miner is being flagged as "Idle for more than 60 seconds, declaring SICK!" and a big red "sick" flag pops up. IF this continues, the flag turns to "dead." This is also intermittent (they have been running for 6 hours today without an issue).

Does anyone know what this error means/what causes it/whether to worry/and how to fix it?

Thanks.

It could be the miners or it could be an issue with the miners getting work from the pool. See if your internet connection fallen on its ass at any point. Then check the pools been running correctly. Check the miners went getting to hot with the warm weather

I don't think this is the issue - it happens even if I use them for solo mining and there is no internet connection issue. Also, they aren't getting too hot (that I know of - what is the upper safe temp limit for these? I haven't been able to find an answer to this anywhere!)

CGWatcher should be able help You babysitting them. It's possible setting it in a way of restarting miner if sick/dead device occurs.

Thanks for the reference, but I'm not sure I want to spend money on another program just yet. Any other advice?

Edit: My mistake... CGWatcher is free, I was looking at their remote program.

I'm running into the same issue on a MinePeon upgraded to 4.2.0.

I have to restart the miner periodically to resolve the SICK/DEAD notices. I'm mining it on a Peon because my normal mining box uses Sapphire BEs and U1s that do not like to play with the R-Box, so CGwatcher is not an option for me because it will not connect across a network to another machine without going to CGRemote, which I am not going to pay for (hobby miner).

Is there another option to resolve this issue, or a suggestion someone might have for an internal fix for the Peon? Simply restarting BFGM resolves the issue, so it's not network or USB connectivity as far as I can see.
