I have seen this statement several times
New block detected on network before pool notification

what does this mean?

Exactly what it says: The pool is meant to notify you there's a new block on the network via stratum, but cgminer has detected by itself there is a new block on the network and the pool has yet to notify you of it.

I have been having issues with this pool, it does not seem to be accepting my shares at all, was ok upto a few days ago, now my screen is full of "hiding block from us" found new block for us" blah blah
