Something like OP's scenario would have been leaked already, were it true. I honestly think people are way to willing to give these organizations more credit than they deserve. CIA ain't smart enough, sneaky enough yes, amoral enough, check! Smart? Not so much.

At any rate; "the truth will out"!

...CIA ain't smart enough...

You don't need to be smart when you have deep pockets, you just pay a smart person to do it.

Gov employs some smart people, make no mistake.

The puppet show of talking heads (politicians) is not where the real work is happening.

They would have to be smart enough to conceive of it first. Also, they are all about total control. They can't control btc. Where are all the CIA whales?

As much as I'd love a good conspiracy here, this one is merely chemtrails (bogus)

This specific thread really does not have any meaningful discussion about the possibility of the US government creating BTC...

Says who? you Roll Eyes

I made a post that might start discussion on the subject...

It's difficult to start discussion when the thread only contains comedians and policemen.
Yes says me, lol. You are correct to say it is difficult to start a discussion when this thread only contains.....what the thread really contains is spam.

I do think the short answer to did the NSA create bitcoin is no because it would make their job all that much more difficult.

What is the point of creating bitcoin? Like this would make banks to bankrupt. I don't know but maybe It is not very logical to be true at least from the first look maybe there is something else deeper...

Maybe some of those government agencies just needed a secure and hidden way to transfer large amount of money to their "nonexisting" projects.

The "nonexistent" projects that are kept secret from the general public are known to the bosses at the intelligence agencies and are known to members of congress. The same goes for both the general budget of the intelligence agencies as well as the budgets of the various projects. Bitcoin would not be necessary to pay for these kinds of projects, they would just use the budget that congress appropriates to them.

Honestly, this was more an exercise in thought.

As proven by many of the people posting here, reading comprehension is going down fast. It may well be under 9,000 at this point....

I laughed when I saw someone resurrected this thread because no one reads the original post, and mostly everyone is not reading the title.

I AM SAYING BITCOIN CREATED THE NSA/CIA/FBI!!!!!!!!!!!!

BITCOIN!!!!!!!

sincerely, get some brainz.

Haha, here's what readers can assume:

[1]
Thread title was written by user for whom English is a second language. This happens quite a lot on this forum, it being international in scope.

[2]
Somehow a temporal paradox may have occured allowing Bitcoin to have influenced events many decades before Bitcoin ever existed.

I'd have to say yes, but it could still be one of the more overall positive things they've done. A one-world currency isn't such a bad thing IMO, but it's why they plan on doing with it when it's fully a one-world currency that's the gotcha.

Due to an article that BitcoinTalk didn't like that I wrote on CCN, my account is banned. Theymos refuses to reply to my request for hearing his side of the story instead of banning my account. Please sign my petition to get Theymos to unban my account. Thank you.

Bitcoin would not be necessary to pay for these kinds of projects, they would just use the budget that congress appropriates to them.
Using bitcoin would only help hide these kinds of payments from the general public, which they are already hidden from. Bitcoin would really serve no use here. Like it has been mentioned previously bitcoin only makes the job of the CIA and the NSA much more difficult.

Since it is satire
Not only did they hire the NSA to make bitcoin long ago they told Dorian Nakamoto to take the fall for it and paid off newsweek when someone was getting close to finding out the truth as a false flag XD.

Believing in Bitcoins and it's ability to change the world
