can u please assist me on picking my 2nd mbo.
1st one is gigabytes 990fx-ud3 and its hosting 5850+5830+5770 ~ 870mhashes total

im thinking of having 4x 5850 on 2nd one. but dont want to spend too much on mbo.
i have 2 risers 1x to 16x. (a bit scared to use them on this board coz ive heard i need to wire pins manualy)

what do u think about gigabytes GA-780T-D3L ?

cheers

The 990fx-ud3 should be able to handle 6 cards with pci-e extenders, might have to short the A1/B17 pins for the motherboard to detect the cards in the 16_1 and 16_2 slots if it behaves like my UD5.

I had to short the pins on x16 board slots that had x1 adapters inserted in them on my UD3.  I had 6 cards on it as well.

im using x16,x8 and x4 pciex without shorting pins.
do i have to short those in x1 when i use my 1x to 16x adapters?
