I have a great idea well in my mind, it may very wll be lame.

Is it possible to run a site and stay anonymous. I dont feel like getting raped by the IRS or having my front door kicked in.

If you couldn't stay anon, is it possible to run it like an arcade and stay legal?

Say you trade BTC for tokens, gamble with tokens then you buy a prize like a giftcard with tokens and we in turn buy it back for BTC.

It seems no different then winning tickets at an arcade or those shady slot arcades you see in towns.

I know a few computer languages at a beginner to intermediate level, but I really want to master javascript and I feel this would be a great way. Of course the income would be great also.

With my idea, the players will not be playing the house, we will just get a 1-2% commision on every game. The players willl play each other and there will be side betting ect.

Better consult an attorney if you really want stay legal. The laws about online gambling are different, so something be allowed for slot towns might not mean it will be allowed online.

And there will be big fish pressure against small fishies trying to enter the online gambling business, for sure

yup, consulting to a local lawyer would be a great move rather than asking only opinions here

I think most of the site owners currently are anonymous. You shouldn't be much worried about it.

Alternative option. There is a BTC blockchain extension or altcoin called Chancecoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=528023.0  for distributed gambling. Fork it, and build your own decentralized distributed casino.

As long as you are not running an investment site, anonymity is fine. Just recently 2 big investment sites ran away with funds. Even though they were partially doxed, not much has happened since.
