Today I received my KnCMiner Titan. Payed $ 12,000 for it, back in March 2014.

I only unboxed it for the pictures, everything is unused.
It comes without PSU's, 2x 800 Watt is recommended.

Contents:
- 1x PI and controller board
- 4x flatcable for Titan to controller board
- 1x Kingston MicroSD card
- 4x 6-pin Y cable (they are in the pink sealed package)
- 4x Titan ASIC module

For more information about the Titan, take a careful look at the KnCMiner topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.39360

It currently only supports Scrypt but KnCMiner states:

Quote
The Titan was designed for several variants of the scrypt algorithm, including Scrypt-N. Titan's firmware is in continuous development and we'll update this space with new versions enabling new features as they become available.

source: https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-106

I don't expect Scrypt-N (or other algorithms) support soon but it could increase your ROI.

Ah, there's more:

And... another...

UPS tried last thursday and friday, but wasn't home:

I have not tested the devices, you will receive a printed copy of the invoice I got from KnCMiner.
For warranty or other issues with the devices, you contact KnCMiner.

What you see is what you get! (no, not the laminated floor...)

Make a good offer in BTC or LTC, including shipping costs and it can be yours.
Tell me how you like it to be shipped.

If you life in the Netherlands you can even pick it up at my place (after payment in BTC or LTC).

when will this "auction" end ?  Smiley

In 3 hours from now I'll contact the highest bidder.

If I get no response within 12 hours, I'll see if the second bid is high enough.

So far the highest bid (by PM) is 7.5 BTC incl. shipping (to the US).

As promised: the bidding has ended.

I got another bid by PM from someone from Poland and I sent him a message.
If I get no response within 12 hours from now, I'll try to find another buyer.

I'll keep this topic open until the buyer receives his Titan.

7.5 is a decent offer, although still on a little high side... anyway issue with titans is not only the price but rather if you get the fully working unit, that's why sellers don't wish to test them and sell as "never opened" or "brand new, never used"... Cheesy don't forget KNC already warned us about "poor die yield" so if you end up with half working titan the hidden costs associated with RMA+lost time on mining will set you back way more then you paid for it... it takes minimum 2 weeks to get them to respond to your RMA inquiry.

I currently have 1 titan.  I can tell you from experience that if you get a cube that has a bad die, you're not dead in the water.  You just have to have a little know-how and deal with it  Wink

A decent running unit should crank out around 8.5 LTC a day at the moment, there is absolutely no way I would get rid of it for a measly 7.5BTC  (I hope the OP did better than that...)

Just my opinion, happy scrypt mining to those lucky enough to have an ASIC, lights out for the remaining GPU miners...

I think the buyer knows this and bases his bid on this, I even linked to the KnCMiner topic with the advice to read carefully.

I'm not selling it as tested, even if I would and it brakes down I could say "sorry guy, tested it here, must have broke down afterwards".

That's why I sell it as: new, unused and untested.
Please, make an offer based on those facts or don't bid.

Want to make sure I am tracking, I submitted the first bid at 7.5 BTC including shipping and you acknowledged bid, just asked that I wait a day before closing the deal to see if a higher bid came in.. Since that time I haven't heard anything back on my follow-ups so we can close on the deal, although you said a 7.5 BTC bid via PM won.. Can you please clarify what ended up happening?

I got 4 bids by PM, and 4 in this topic.

The best offer was made by someone from Poland, the miner was shipped to him, today.
I did not mention how much he bid but you can probably imagine I went for the best offer.

There was no bribing with Polish vodka involved.

The package was delivered on november 18th, the Track & Trace shows. That took a long time...

Did not hear anything from the buyer yet, but contacted him a few minutes ago.
He was very patient, thanks for that  Smiley
