I would like to put together a team to create a new coin. I have some great ideas that would make for an awesome coin.
I have been involved in the crypto world for a while now and seen coins come and go. I have seen some coins actually live up to their potential and become successful. In my research I have found what I believe works and what does not.
To many coins that have come out lately are just scams. I want to offer a coin that has real value and is around long term.

Some of the issues I have seen are:
Newbie accounts that are just used for a scam coin
Devs that give up on the project and walk away
Not enough people working on the coin
I could go on but you get the idea.

Some things a successful coin needs:
Solid dev team
Solid road map
Usability

If you are interested in creating the next big coin please PM me and let me know what you can help with.
This is not going to be a scam coin or get rich quick coin. I am looking for reputable people to help create a successful coin.

Not from me. IPO's have been used to many times as a scam. Most scam coins either have an IPO or a huge premine.

What algo do you have in mind for you coin project? How many coins total? Will it be a pure mine coin or mine with pos later?

so how do you intend to solve the initial distribution problem?
Airdrops are out, all permutations of IPO either.
For POW I would point at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857112.msg9625205#msg9625205

X11 is my first thought since my concept is geared to a specific industry. I have not decided on total coins or POW vs POW/POS. Any ideas?

No, I am looking to put a team together. I believe some coins fail because one person tries to do it all. Also, more minds = more ideas. Do you know of a good dev that might be interested?

no most coins fails cus its planned for them to fail ( ore there attacked / fudded to death  )
did something similar to what your trying to do * and trust me u will see / find out things about crypto u would never know without it * most is not fun . good lol )

btw if u start
the number 1 rule is ( devs are expansive ) and they wanna urn money a decent amount of it * or have a chance on a high ass payout *
els they just spend there skills on there own / other projects Wink

the number 2 rule is a addon to the number 1 rule ( sins devs want to urn money for the time they spend ) its hard to keep a dev team together on a legit project ( unless u got big pockets )

hope this will give u a better insight Smiley

u can try to get them to work for a coin ( so they get fame / recognition ) but then well yea Tongue

noting in this world is free
and no one will work for free
its just that every one works for a different kind of payment
fame
money
power
prestige
freedom ( in time of war Smiley )
there all payment methods most want money tough Tongue

lol no ty

I am really not trying to be an ass what so ever, but you have 16 activity. Do you have another account? Hard to believe that you've "been into crypto's for a while" with an account like that.

Or also quite possible that you have an account with another coin forum.

Thank you for your thoughts. I will keep this in mind. I do know that people need to be rewarded for their time and effort. The team will decide how this is done.

This is a fairly new account. Previously I didn't post much. I am looking to get even more involved.

Still looking for those who want to help. I have a small team together so far but I could use a couple more. If you are interested in joining a team that is dedicated to making a great and successful coin please let me know.

I am sure your coin will be awesome, but is it really necessary?
I mean aren't there like 1,000 other coins filling every available niche?

Yes but none with the ideas I have. I plan to make a coin with some new ideas and is designed to make users a profit.
