Building a 900,000 Gh/s farm with all s4's going to keep rolling with the s5's when they roll in Jan 15.. have 15kv power coming in... using BTC guild pool have been for a while on a smaller scale.. 40 tons of AC... my question is what other miners would you guys use on this scale thanks again Joeyface.

Wow that's some build out for mining. I'm not so sure I'd actually mine exclusively bitcoin these days, I'd add some rigs to mine altcoins. I made more on darkcoin in q3 last year than bitcoin alone. I understand the drive to mine the king of crypto though, but the margins are razor thin. I had a few racks of miners last year, the majority of my farm was bitmain equipment, but I also had knc and zeus equipment too.

Bitmain Yoshi Gopo is selling a 1 Peta which is 500 S4 for 420,000 which = 850 per unit.
Cost to run them at the same location is 80kw per month. to find out how much kw per month you will
be using in a setup like this simple 690,000 of constant watts used http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/watt-to-kwh-calculator.htm
Energy in kilowatts hour 16560 x .11 = 54,648 a month -/+.. 1 Peta is bringing in around
3800 - 4100 in coin in a 24 hour period. Cost to run mine at Yoshi location is 1821 a day..

Gives a net return of around 2100 - 2300 a day.. 70k+ a month  880+ a Year ... Total fees includes power to Yoshi are 54- 56 k per month

I guess maybe your right must be something i'm missing 80kw per month is 56k... based on today's price is 877k   profit  iam looking 2 see if these people are real maybe i'm missing the big picture...

80kW for 900TH? I don't think so. I think you got the numbers wrong.

Also 56k for 80kW? Where is that? What price are you getting for power?

877k profit for a 500k$ investment? That can't be right. Not at this difficulty and this BTC price. In how much time? I am sure that you messed up your calculations somewhere. Please share them if you want or just redo them.

i'm 99.9% someone is trying to pull the OPs chain.

That's what you will get with constant difficulty, but that will not happen for 1 full year. In reality you will do 70k per month for the first 4 months and then you will decline fast to 0k per month. You may want to check difficulty history. It will never stay flat for 1 year.

It is not known for certain that the difficulty will continue to rise as it has in the last year. It is theoretically possible that the difficulty decreases over the next year as the price of bitcoin has declined and people are less inclined to purchase preorder miners (which allows the manufacturers to mine for free without regard to cost of production)

Catching up on this thread hurts some, the OP seems quite uneducated when it comes to working through the economics, especially since the recurring is the real differentiator... I have purchased from Bitmain and Spondoolies at 150TH+ and can say they are both solid companies, Spondoolies has it on warranty and quality however the W/GH really plays into the conversation more with the S5..
