10. DarkWallet: Untraceable bitcoin wallets - this can be bad obstacle for mass adoption I think. Mass media and people who think that bitcoin is just tool
created for hackers for criminals would have a solid argument when this service will launch...

Why would it be a bad obstacle? Most of the public already thinks bitcoin is untraceable or anonymous so this wouldn't be any different. I don't think darkwallet will become mainstream and only have a niche use amongst criminals and super libertarians but it's there if you want to use it.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

DarkWallet was released in early May of 2014 I believe, and is not related to DarkCoin.

For the media DarkWallet was another "proof" that Bitcoin is the ideal payment method of choise for criminals.

Since when is caring about privacy considered a criminal activity? Since never. Only the media don't seem to understand that.

I don't see anybody other than a criminal benefit from a full privacy proof currency. I, myself, support privacy-aware currencies, but believe it or not the main customer is the dark side of the market.

Ripple shouldn't be there. So there were 4 companies I had never heard of. That includes 21, and I'm actually surprised to see it included as the article doesn't even say what this company is doing. The Internet of things? My fridge will do my shopping, and pays with BTC?

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

21st ". It's a kind of customised USB stick holding your wallet, boasting "state of the art security" and claiming to be "malware proof.""

well those who claim their thing is malware proof end up getting most of the bigger customers, end up as a big target for attackers, and often also get prooven wrong in their claims.
nothing is attack proof, the only thing they can claim is that they have a good security, thats all.

cheers
