a lot of ignorance in the comments

people prefer to attack something they don't understand and agree; dismissing freedom of voluntary actions such as trade and protection of such freedom from abuse.
they attack libertarians while main two parties that have been in control of US keep ruining the great country with idiocracy, counter-productive actions fighting one another, focusing only on their political careers and only protecting special interests of lobbying sponsors. and yet they have a nerve to laugh at (attack) bitcoiners

They attack bitcoin through guilty by association instead of understanding what bitcoin is good for and bad for. Bitcoin is itself only a technology.

The Americans elect them. They're responsible for ensuring the men that are staying in office, yet they deserve so much better. Lobbying is just petitioning. The founding fathers are just incredibly naive in how they design the government.

The intelligent Americans are helpless to sway things because politicians always go after emotional issues and use lies to get the general populace to vote out of fear.

There isn't much to elect, all politicians are stupid.

When Obama ran, look at the morons that ran against him. Mccain,Palin and Schwarzenegger wanted to go to war with Russia over the George Bush dispute back in 07-08. If you recall correctly, I think it was about the country called Georgia. And now, it's just worse. Never is much of a selection. George Bush is an average C student with multiple DUI's/OWI's. Obama just wants to take over everything and lie about everything. Romney is just a fuck stick, same with this new guy that popped up last few days on Romney's side.

It always narrows down to either Tweedledum or Tweedledee and which smarter one would you vote for?

What I said applies to the narrowing down process as well as the final decision.

There's no such thing as "intelligent" person when it come to election and democracy. Politicians have the impossible job of knowing and being well informed in a diverse range of field, from science to economics to software. The solution is to obviously limit their role into something that they can manage without their brain exploding.

Bitcoin will be that way too. The majority of future bitcoiners will not care one bit about bitcoin or Satoshi Nakamoto and the economics. They will think of it as MONEY and they will use bitcoin just like they use the dollars and euro. That what everyone accepts, why question the wisdom? They are not really bitcoiners as we think of them today.
