Antiwar, an organization dedicated to exposing the horrors of war, recently had their Google adsense account terminated – as a result of showing the disgusting treatment of prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison, by U.S. military personnel. Adsense advertisements had been running on Antiwar for almost 11 years, without any objections from Google about the

Rather than asking for donation, they can try out a-ads.com, adbit.co etc. There are also good ad services other than Adsense in FIAT world, e.g. BuySellAds.com, Media.com etc. In any case, there is no alternative of Direct Ads, which is used on BitcoinTalk.org.

Angela Keaton was on Free Talk Live this last Saturday night and they were discussing this very thing. Antiwar has long been trying to get donations since they lost most of their notoriety and funding once Obama got in the white house because the antiwar left is fraudulent.

If Google kept to it's policy and applied it to all participants of the adsense policy who post gruesome images or content that contains graphic or gory images, BUT they not doing that with Dailymail, Ktar. In affect they targetted Antiwar for this action and it is very suspect to say the least.

They trying to silence "Antiwar" by cutting their funding... WOULD that be the solution?... I doubt it.. This will only make them stronger, with all the negative publicity Google is getting from this.

There are enough people with big pockets, who would step in and help them....  Grin

I think this sort of censorship or refusal to work with certain companies that seems to be policy with Google and Paypal could be a big boost for bitcoin. If they won't handle their money then the censor-ship free bitcoin sure as well will.

Did they discuss the option of taking bitcoin donations?
