Ok

here is an easy one:

Which is the best Bitcoin / Crypto related News site?

Share your regular information resources and list here the top5

The ones you visit in a regular basis, the ones you trust more, the ones you like the most, or whatever the reason is.

i mostly use Coindesk.com both for news on BTC and also the price section: http://www.coindesk.com/price/
i like their API too

also www.newsbtc.com is a good site to get news from

and last but not least, i mostly use Reddit. since i was a member there before i subscribed to botcoin, dogecoin and a couple of more subs there for good information and a nice community

Cointelegraph is my personal favorite. I like their colorful little images they draw for every piece. Coindesk is decent too and is well presented, but I heard that they don't even accept bitcoins for payment and pay their employees in PayPal which is kind of a joke if true.

Yes, CoinDesk don't allow us to pay with Bitcoin for their new service. Huh Undecided I don't think they must pay with Bitcoin for their employees but they must accept Bitcoin as payment method.

My personal favorites:

• Coindesk: Easy to read and load faster.
• CoinTelegraph: Cool pictures and good writing style.

I personally like CoinDesk as I can view the latest news from my smartphone quickly via their app.

Very recently have I been starting to browse cryptocoinsnews.com. They seem to have some worthy notes their.

There's also bitcoinmagazine.com - I hardly ever browse this, only when my first 2 options have become over read by myself to I revert to bitcoinmagazine.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I browse reddit quite often as well.

there are a lot of news websites out there for btc nowadays, but i think the best one that doesn't put crappy news and is up to date is coindesk.

also i recently enjoyed visiting CoinTelegraph too

i too visit Reddit, mostly dogecoin but the bitcoin section also has news posted on it.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

Cointelegraph brings on some great opinion pieces from times to times. But I just follow news from reddit.com/r/bitcoin at the time. This way I only get to see the best of the most recent articles disregarding their source. Sad thing about reddit is that people sometime upvote or downvote content solely just by judging the title.

I think they should be boycotted until they accept bitcoin. Paying your employees in bitcoin should at least be an option but not accepting them as payment for ads or whatever is ridiculous. Clearly they don't really care about bitcoin other than the money they can make off it.

It's not coindesk's decision to not accept bitcoin, it's the stores from which they're getting it from as far as I know.

On thing I forgot to mention about CoinDesk is that I feel as if they exaggerate a bit too much. Regarding their research with bitcoin they often don't go into the details that's needed.

Coinfire is one of the very few that indulges in actual journalism. Coindesk gathers together some pretty stories but their ethics suck the big one and I wouldn't trust a story from them unless it was verified elsewhere.

In my personal opinion i believe that the best is Coindesk with difference. They search, review and confirm everything they write and they posts have value against a lot of others.I am sure that there are many more with value but i didn't make a big research for the Bitcoin/Crypto news sites.

Kind Regards,
BTC-Bank.

What do you mean stores? What stores? It's entirely their decision. All they need to do is accept it. Simple as. It's completely their choice not to do so but the fact that they don't is scandalous. I like coindesk just to clarify but my opinion really changed about them with this fact.

If I remember correctly, CoinDesk doesn't sell the services or products listed on their deals website. All of the items/services are outsourced from different sources. CoinDesk would obviously want to accept bitcoin,it's just that the companies they have negotiated with are still working on it.

i find coindesk very informative and quite spot on. but some times it can take a while before they release an article that was already available on reddit or facebook. if you want the fastest news then use reddit, facebook, twitter.

Hi - just to address some of these points.

The self-serve ad platform does accept bitcoin - https://ads.coindesk.com/

As does Tinypass, which we use to sell Research.

I'm working with the partner to get BTC payments on the deals store as soon as possible. Launching without support is disappointing in the short term, yes, but our input will enable more stores to be able to accept it once integration is complete. The goal was to launch with these payments, but a change in provider has delayed development their end.

If sales go through the roof it will make an excellent case study for bitcoin payments, won't it?

Okay great, I was correct. Hopefully we'll see some sort of integration soon. If something does happen the amount of spending done by me is going through the roof.

I personally visit Cryptocoinsnews, Coindesk & CoinTelegraph (because of their lovely cartoonish images)

By the way, Coindesk has a problem with their rss feeder (no feeds at all today).

I mainly use desktop feed reader and got already all the above and looking for some new sources.
