With Google at our fingertips a specialized Bitcoin search engine is unneeded.

Usually people can just make a filter for Google

I don't see no hate in that post why do you feel that is hate? That is closer to fact google is the kind of search and is tried and tested it works it is not broken so the saying is if something isn't broke don't try fixing it plays here, that aside a crypto focused search engine could be good and i will look into it further thanks for sharing Smiley

I have dislike for the p2p marketplace I feel like inventions that take away jobs are bad, They have a website that can build websites for you using AI tech. I love and support bitcoin, but people are going to far with there inventions.  what next a P@P search engine?  make the world more dangerous? oh yeah lets love drugs right, we had that chance of drugs being in the streets but it was abused and it killed people.  Whats the matter with you people?

I think nobody hates your idea, but most of us don't see why it's better than using Google or the site search here in BTT Smiley.
Anyway it could be useful for newcomers.

I try to support in any way I can. For OP If you have the passion to develop the site probably you can compile all the information about different cryptos like history, past exchange rate, predictions, technical information and offer the advantage something like instead of going to google and typing to search pages through pages of info, probably yours already have everything there.

Then you sure hate everything that came from the Industrial Revolution, even if you benefit from it right now.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.

You don't need to support things that are unneeded then you are just supporting a waste or resources and time.

Although google is king that does not mean a crypto search engine would not be handy being focused on just crypto, i actually think this is a good idea and hopefully if it is worthy of the title it will achieve it Smiley

The point of all things crypto related is to integrate the new tech in current one, and not to distance from it.
I can see some cases where it would be "handy" to have a crypto related search engine, but those occasions are quite rare, most of the time its just
like "that extra thing" u really dont need , but its there (like altcoins)

cheers

Google is so entrenched in people's minds, it's hard to imagine a crypto search engine won't collect dust. I use Google to search for things on this forum, not the forum's built-in search function.

I like the ideas. But let us see how the claimed google of cryptocurrency will be performing! If it outperforms the google, ppl will absolutely go to it.

Interesting idea to be able to search the blockchain for keywords etc. I'm sure this could be useful for certain purposes. Not sure I've really had the need to do it, but I'm sure it would come in handy for something.

There are so many sites and forums and Blogs dedicated to BTC and Crypto currencies : Backed.io / Bitbiz.io / thebitcoinpage.com / btcgeek.com etc etc... and Google/Yahoo include them all in their spider web, so we do not really need a seperate search engine, just for BTC related stuff.

The stuff on Youtube alone, will give you months of valueble information, if you search for "Bitcoin"  Grin There are too many services on the internet, doing the same thing anyway.

Good idea, but it's not necessary to re-invent the wheel.  Grin

Well I think every little bit counts. Right now it's still work in progress and not working properly (I just tried it) but it could be interesting if they manage to build an exhaustive database of information for all things cryto. I think a Wikipedia for crytocurrencies would be more useful than a search engine though. Of course if they could have both, it'd be awesome  Smiley

If it's really better than Google then it will be popular, but it's up against stiff competition. Google didn't get where it is without good reason.
