Ok. Let me know, when you have time. One topic, that I'm especially interested in, is faster calculation. I had ideas for using OpenCL, but so far it seems, there's no good solution to use BigDecimal with it? So I set my hopes on project sumatra.

WTF is sumatra?!?

It looks like you have a gigantic team.  It looks like if I had an idea there wouldn't be enough equity for everyone.

Do you have people capable of making an altcoin exchange?  Actually what I want to implement might be easier by starting with one already built.  I'm not interested in building a Altcoin exchange but something similar.  It'll need orderbooks, and a matching engine.

woah that's awesome.  It'll still require a bit of work to modify.

Oops deleted my other post.  I'd like to join the team because I need dev help for implementing an idea.  I'm really excited.

That's the best.

Other OS exchanges:
1) BitTrex https://blinktrade.com/ (PROD ready)
2) Txbits https://txbits.org (PROD ready)
3) Wlox http://wlox.io/ (PROD ready)
4) OpenEX https://github.com/OpenExLLC (PROD ready)
5) Bitcoin Central https://github.com/davout/bitcoin-central (PROD ready)

Peatio is the best around. That's what I'm considering to build an OS exchange in the future.

Do you have people capable of making an altcoin exchange?  Actually what I want to implement might be easier by starting with one already built.  I'm not interested in building a Altcoin exchange but something similar.  It'll need orderbooks, and a matching engine.

http://www.peat.io/

woah that's awesome.  It'll still require a bit of work to modify.

Oops deleted my other post.  I'd like to join the team because I need dev help for implementing an idea.  I'm really excited.
@chriswen please read first post!

Okay, guys, I've done due diligence on hoop and am willing to give him and his a team a chance to prove themselves, predicated on knowing more with whoms I'm teaming up with, namely hoop. To be clear, I'm not inferring that there's any nefarious activity and my offer is genuine.

Firstly, I see there's currently 18 names making up this team having various skill sets under their individual belts. Sadly, the number 18 doesn't divisible nicely into 50, read 50% as in my proposed cut for the team, with myself retaining the other 50%. To round it up, I'd require that Rassah and Jason King be added to the list of names so that the future payout would be an exact 2.5%. Rassah will act at as the trusted escrow, and Jason King getting a share for his Satoshi Forest, with his only input for the team consisting of blasts on various social media outlets he's affiliated with.

Granted, it's very possible that some team members may put in more efforts than others due to skill sets required, but it is what it is, for down the road the reverse could easily be just as true. But, as long as some effort, no matter how minute, is offered up, each team member [on the list] will be paid their 2.5% share for the project I have in mind.

Also, any documented moneys paid by a team member during the project's development will be reimbursed first plus 10%. BTW, I'm not talkin' 'bout any large outlays, so don't get spooked by that kind offer.

For those reading thus far curious as to what the project is, this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1067016.0

The 50% share I spoke of ONLY relates to the total amount raised during the crowdfunding campaign and ONLY if it's funded. For example, if $50K USD was originally requested and the campaign raised $200K USD, then each team member would be entitled to 2.5% of $100K USD or $2,500 USD each, plus the promised 10% ROI on any moneys outlaid to bring the project to fruition, of which comes out of the other $100K USD and paid in full immediately after the funds have been remitted via the crowdfunding entity.

Before I go any further, I don't believe there's any problem with using more than one crowdfunding entity to further the overall cause. They could be used to raise moneys for the development of individual vital aspects, i.e., engineering development. The same percentage and terms would apply for each campaign, thus, hopefully, garnering a few extra bucks for the team members.

I mentioned that any outlaid moneys plus 10% will be paid out immediately. That's not true with the 2.5% share, albeit the full payout should take place prior to years end (2015). I propose that half, 1.25% be paid out immediately after a successful crowdfunding campaign ends. That way there'll be enough moneys available for actual development of the project. I feel that this is fair, but won't mind having it open up for discussion.

Until I'm fully comfortable with the team, namely it's founder, I won't be sharing what the actual product consist of, with the exception of what I've already penned via the link I provided above, albeit the wait won't be too long, for we need to get this train a choo-choo-chooin'.

Basically, this is a simple project to act as a test as to what an impromptu team can accomplish and show the world that they're ready to take on other projects using this as a reference. Even if the crowdfunding campaigns fails overall, as long as there was honest professional effort put forth by the team, it'd still be worth a mention.

Further, for team members instrumental in getting this off the ground, you guys would be first in line to be part of the project after the funding period ends depending on what you're able to bring to the table as my partner. And, there's other moneys to be had during the campaign process and beyond regardless if we're directly connected or not.

I'm confident that once you see what my product consist of, you guys will come on board. Unfortunately, since we're basically all strangers to one another, a protection of the idea would first have to be put in place to make sure a rouge member doesn't walk away with the idea. It's paramount that this issue be discussed first.

Thanks in advance,

I just posted a new thread regarding an idea for a project before reading this.

my idea is to write a primer on BTC security, NOT an all 'round "what is BTC?" type thing but a simple easy to use "how to use and store btc without getting robbed" book.

I'm a writer, not a technical expert so I am looking to team up with a tech guy to create a comprehensive "how to" book specifically related to personal computer and online security regarding BTC. simple idea but it doesn't exist yet. There are a lot of n00bz who would get into bitcoin if they could feel that they were safe from burglary. I cant tell you how often the first thing comes up in conversation about BTC with n00bz is "Aren't they totally easy to get stolen???" I think there is a market for a simple, no nonsense, guide for the general reader. Face it, most people just want in safely, they don't need to know Gavin's shoe size.

here's link to my original post - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1067912.0

PM me if interested.   Smiley

FYI... People who are listed on this "team" are not necessarily working on the project(s) that are being run by hoop.

There are separate teams that have spun out of the OP and are working completely independently.
