Duration: 24hrs (Ends on 3/27/15 at Noon Pacific time)
Opening Bid: 0.8BTC PLUS SHIPPING
Bid Incriments: 0.05BTC

I purchased this sculpture from Paddle8 a few years ago from an artist in the Ukraine. It is a giant Queen chess piece and the artwork was entitled Woman in a Black Dress. This is a beautiful artwork and has drawn many a conversation in my office. It's time to change the decorations in the office after 2 years of looking the same so i am getting rid of this piece so someone else can enjoy it and i can find a new sculpture for my office.

The original purchase price was $825 (plus auction fees i had to pay) so the opening bid is a hell of a steal.

There will be no sniping on this auction, if a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the auction, the auction will be extended by 15 minutes untill all bidding has stopped.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It is nice, but still it's just a piece of wood.
Your starting price is too high I think. It's auction, should be less.

It's an art sculpture from the Ukraine, it's only a piece of wood to people with no sense of culture. By your definition the Mona Lisa is just a piece of canvas with paint on it.

Will work out very expensive by the time you have purchased the other 31 pieces and the board.

0.8 x 32 = 25.6BTC or at current exchange rate - $6348

Only joking  Grin

For sure, but i dont think there are any other pieces. I only bought it to celebrate breaking 2,000. Not as part of a set.
