It's the continuation of the Hive Wallet project. Interesting. What do you have to do to be a featured/recommended wallet on https://bitcoin.org/en/ ?

Is the source code available?

What steps should be taken - step by step - to recover my funds in case your service shuts down?

In discussions with the admins of bitcoin.org the only reason its not listed is due to user adoption, this should change now that CoinSpace has replaced Hive. but everyone should contact them and ask to have it added this will help all Hive users know about the new option.

Yes all source code is on Github. https://github.com/CoinSpace

Coin.Space implements BIP39 and BIP32 so as long as you have the Passphrase you can open your wallet in any other wallet service that supports BIP. Steps are on our FAQ page.

Some observations:

Your main marketing message on your main page: "BITCOIN WITH NO FEES, FOR THE UNBANKED." is kind of misleading, as you utilize standard network fees, according to your FAQ. Can be misleading for users, in this competitive environment.

The section in your FAQ: "Will I still be able to get my coins if Coin.Space shuts down?" Couldn't be more suitable for misinterpretation. I quote:

Reddit post: The first comment on the first link has the best and clear explanation about it.
StackExchange post.

Now what? This all couldn't have been phrased in a more confusing way. Sad

And a question:

Hive, which you forked were removed from the list of officially recommended clients. As you inherited their code base, and a percentage of their user base (with a different percentage of Hive's original users' asset base), what needs to be done on your part to get (back?) on the list of officially supported clients?

Thanks!

What's your business model? Your predecessor, Hive, also offered a free wallet, and they went out of business; they went out of funds or enthusiasm, whatever.

You may be interested in considering the 'donation model:' https://medium.com/@marcoarment/pragmatic-app-pricing-a79fc07218f3

The only thing needed to get CoinSpace listed on the main Bitcoin.com site is to have the user base request it.

There is already an update request in place to have it added. Just up to the Admins of bitcoin site to approve it.

I'm waiting for a transaction which have been done 40 minutes ago. It's not shown in the coin.space wallet and https://live.coin.space doesn't show it, too. Are there any known sync issues?
I can see the transaction in many block explorers, only coin.space doesn't show it.

Please contact Coinspace support with the transaction ID and a screenshot of the history page.  Depending on the transaction fee you used too send it can take very long to get a confirmation including being rejected if the fee was too low.
