BEWARE: iGot Bitcoin BTC market stole my money in what looks like the start of an exit scam.
Firstly, I am not one for publicly defaming but in this situation iGot has left me gutted and sick with stress and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
So here is the rundown of events:
1. Opened account.
2. Went through verification process and received level 2 (highest) verification.
3. Deposited a large sum of money.
4. Deposit was not reflected in my wallet for 3 weeks. during this time I emailed them over 5 times, posted a complaint on their facebook page (which they removed), started a support ticket.
5. Finally i received a reply and deposit was cleared. I started trading btc for a few weeks and due to their low commission and simple interface, I was happy and transferred all my BTC from other markets to iGot.
6. Decided I should trial a withdrawal before carrying on with all my eggs in one basket. Sold all BTC with intentions to withdraw my full $ balance to my bank account.
7. Immediately after selling all my BTC my verification level was dropped to level 1 with no explanation. at level 1 you can not withdraw cash.
8. I started a support ticket and emailed them and it took 7 days to clear it up and bring my verification level back to level 2 (allowing withdrawals).
9. On 06.03.2015 I submitted a withdrawal request to cash out all my funds to my bank account.
10. 14 days pass and my withdrawal is still marked “pending”. In this time I sent iGot numerous emails and support tickets with not a single reply. So now I have no funds showing in my iGot account and no transfer has been made into my bank account. I have zero access. At this point i’m literally sickened with stress.
11. On 20.03.2015 I get an email saying my withdrawal status has changed from “pending” to “confirmed” but funds are still not in my bank account. My support ticket is closed by iGot with no response or explanation.
12. It’s now 27.03.2015. I still have no funds available in my iGot account or my bank account. I have sent daily emails and support tickets.
This is a huge amount of money for me (and probably for most people).
I am in Australia and so is iGot. I have provided them my bank details (confirmed with transfers), utility bills, credit card, drivers license, video call facial confirmation - the works. So this is not a security issue on their end. It’s completely inexcusable.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

This might be a scam.. But could be a delay from international transfer. Your only try is to contact them again and stop using weird sites and use known ones.
If it seems too good to be true, then it might be rooten inside.

iGot is known for their delays and bad customer support. There is another user who complained about the website: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=975176.0They are charging a huge fee and plus they delay the transactions.

Sorry but wonder how huge do you talk about? They say large amount needs time but no definite threshold.

Wow this is serious. I would have a heart attack by now, keep talking to them and I really hope that this gets sorted and you get your money back.
If they're saying that the withdrawal is confirmed, ask them to give you details from which bank they sent the money and what mode they used to transfer the money, even if it wire transfer or anything else, I am sure they would have some document of it or a proof.
If they provide that call the bank they sent from and confirm the details.

UPDATE:
I received a response today on one of my support tickets. They claim due to human error, my funds were transferred to an incorrect account number and bounced back to iGot. They have now re issued the transfer and I have received my money now after a full 30 freaking days of first wanting my money back!
Although this is a relief, there is still no explanation why all my enquiries, emails and support tickets were left unanswered for over 2 weeks, causing me some serious stress and freak out.
I guess this company doesn't give 2 shits of what 1 person thinks but swoops in asap when their workings are made public.
It should not of come to this. If you expect people to trust you with their hard earned cash and btc, get your shit together iGot.

Well that's good news, glad it worked out in the end and bottom line is your money is back safe in your hands. Next time be more cautious and do your homework about exchanges/companies where you send your money to. Edit: I think it would be for the best if you mark this thread as "Solved" and close it down.

Hi everyone, Dan Palmer from igot here. Any issues, please feel free to email me at dan[at]igot.com. We have had this same discussion over on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/30gqo7/beware_igot_bitcoin_btc_market_stole_my_money_in/We did make an error with this transaction for which we have apologised. Waits this long are very rare and KRS1 (KRS333 on reddit) has received compensation from igot for his inconvenience. Here's a quote from him: "Further Update: I have been given a generous credit in compensation. I guess this company is not necessarily shady or working on any exit scams, just extremely slow. To sum up my advice after it all. iGot is instant buy/sell (as they are the buyers and sellers themselves) so you get the listed trade price, instantly. Which is fantastic. But expect withdrawals and support tickets and deposits to take up to 3 weeks!". While most transactions go through in our stated timeframe, some do take a little longer, depending on circumstances. Three weeks is absolutely not the norm, of course. We have quite a number of fraud attempts at igot, so we have to carry out a lot of manual transactions to prevent loss of user and company funds, as well as require solid user verification. We hope you understand that, despite occasional delays, this means igot is a very safe platform to use. We are currently putting place in procedures that will reduce the likelihood of delays, as well as the response times of support. Meanwhile we offer local bitcoin buying and selling in almost 40 countries - it's a great service that is of benefit to the bitcoin community and the general public. We hope this transaction error won't put you off using our services. Regards.

Hi Dan, Nice to see a representative of igot on bitcointalk. I think it will be best if you open a thread in service section of the forum, where users can interact and provide you feed-back about their experiences with igot.
All businesses face problems where unwanted errors cause delays and make customers unhappy but more than that people feel angry when they're not able to get answers from support.
And it will be nicer if they can talk to someone on here when and if they face any issues in future.

Good that this issue has been apparently solved. Igot has a decent reputation. However, even individual distress can affect solid reputations.

Good to see its finally resolved. There have been many complaints about iGot recently. Hope they all get addressed. 3 weeks is a lot of time. Don't become iGox.

Difference of Exchange Loss and extreme delay When i made global transfer on 6th June is almost of 300USD Would you guys at bitcoin ever understand this or just keep putting weight on your system miseries and let us know how sorry you guys are because of system delay or poor performance. i would suggest if you guys are not sure i think you guys should put hold on this. You guys have no rights to play with other people funds for more than half month. Do you even know how much interest is charges for per day? I am afraid if this the performance soon or later there would be locks at your office doors.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
There is another exchange called itBit Pte Ltd and they are doing the exact same thing. Be very careful with your choice of exchange when investing or trading your bitcoins. There are several of them boasting "being the best in this and that... the most transparent.. the fastest.. the most client-friendly of all exchanges etc etc". All these flowery and boastful words on their websites should be taken and read with caution. I sent $3000 to this itBit exchange, traded bitcoins and now that I want my BTC I have to deal with an endless cycle of "sending your bitcoins now"... "sending your bitcoins now"... "sending your bitcoins now". Nothing is happening. Few hours later I check again and the transaction status reverts back to "bitcoins will be sent to the blockchain tomorrow".

The iGot scam hit the mainstream media in Australia yesterday with a serious investigative expose on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's 7:30 current affairs and news program. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-11/australian-bitcoin-exchange-igot-on-verge-of-collapse/7315894Watch the embedded video to see what has been broadcast. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS EXCHANGE AS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER SEE YOUR FUNDS AGAIN. If you're already embroiled in the web of broken promises and lies that characterises everything Rick Day does, contact the relevant authorities and lodge formal reports about what money you're owed.

I wish I had read this before... have been using igot last year without any issue when I want to send money from abroad... stoped for a while. Yesterday, after one year I logged back to iGot. Everything seemed to be fine, a good volume of transactions, price consistent to market. I never heard any complains before (I know more the Brazilian market). I sent some BTC to sell. When I tried to sell I saw something was wrong for future orders... tried to open the help, it wasn't working... started to worry. them I google it and them I really got nervous, angry. Tried to withdraw my 2.5 BTC back but was too late. Frustrated. Now I feel powerless and hopeless. I feel so stupid for not be aware of this... the thing is, I had trust on them. I really feel silly... I've always been proud to use btc to transfer money from abroad quicker than using banking transfer... Now I have to call one by one my friends to alert them about this, because I have recommended to them. This makes me really lose the confidence in bitcoin. Not the technology itself, but the lack of professionalism in its use. Lack of ethic. How can this guy sleep? Anyhow, be aware, they are acting as they are working normally, but if you send bitcoins to them you will probably lose it. Anybody from NZ here have any info about how to complain to authorities? I don't have any hope to have this money back...
