Im wondering, why was this thread deleted? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1000502.new;topicseen#new
It was about someone wondering if OKCOIN is the main cause of bitcoin price downtrend. I think discussing this and giving the correct answer is better than not discussing it. So i wonder why it gots deleted.

Or was it the creator of the thread. If so i suggest making this a new feature in the new forum software. Being able to see who deleted a thread.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I noticed 2 days back that this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=999494.0 wherein a newbie was asking about Faucets was deleted. I thought that may be this topic is discussed earlier so it got deleted but then it could be merged. Why delete it?

Also I don't think a thread can be deleted by the OP once there are replies added to that thread.

Only the creator can delete this, and it would have to be no one view this thread or no one reply to the thread (either one, im not really sure) is the condition for the thread can be deleted, and Moderators can actually move it to trashcan , not the same as deleting, but moving to a boards which is unnacesible to us

Ok, i got it. grue deleted it because of a referral link. That explaination should be connected to the old thread i think. I only found it because i receive the rss-feed and the new post was there explaining what happened.

So it happened that he moved it to trashcan. Here is the explaination thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1003136.msg10889612#msg10889612
