Staking is going smoothly on my end.
Make sure you leave your wallets locked while you sync to the netwrok.
Little pissed I missed the start of staking.

downloaded 15000 blocks, paid first pos  now zero connections,  stuck at block 15000

I have tested this method several times and it works for everyone that tried it so far.
OK bad new is this fix shuts off staking. But at least wallet will work while I continue to figure it out

Remove all except your conf and wallet.dat
If you remove your wallet.dat all your coins are lost. SO BACK IT UP FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Change conf to this

rpcpassword=yourpass
addnode=5.231.235.32

of course you can play with those settings. The reservebalance part stops staking



UPDATE. I did the following and allowed peers.dat to fully update. Wait about 5 mins
Then i REMOVED reservebalance=1000000 and restarted wallet

After about 20 mins I also removed
dns=1
dnsseed=1
listen=1

Just wait 5 mins from when you sync to network to start staking.
Should work, if not then try devs suggestion.

wallet paused at block 15000
so added

reservebalance=1000000
dns=1
dnsseed=1
listen=1

this got me past 1500 and upto date

removed after 15 mins

reservebalance=1000000
dns=1
dnsseed=1
listen=1



Now staking,  Windows wallet working fine.

Strange reserve balance would make any difference otherwise.

yeah unlocked,  had issues with corrupt passwords on other coins in the past

Im on win32. Been messing with wallets alot. lol I noticed in the conf it was misssing

server=1
daemon=1


I then started up with wallet.dat and tricky.conf

Im past the fork and almost done syncing, with hour to go so can safely say that helps for windows wallet on win32.

No need to update wallet as there is nothing to update.
Please follow the numerous instructions in this forum and you will connect, sync and stake with no issues.

Just do this simple simple thing. Make a copy of your roaming folder. Stop the wallet. Delete all files in your roaming folder except trickycoin.conf and wallet.dat . Restart wallet. Enjoy.
If that doesn't work then your .conf is clearly incorrect.

Try above. If it doesn't work PM me a copy of your .conf please. I will help all I can.

Roadmap Phase 1 is on the OP.

Big plans for Phase 2. This is not a mine and dump coin. I intentionally kept the big pools and multi pools away.
PoW is almost over. I suggest mine hard now.

Remember I did not pre-mine anything. Everything I do is out of pocket.

We have some major coin holders and investors behind this.

My apologies, the addnodes that I entered into the .conf file that I uploaded a few days ago have timed out.
You need to change "Addnode=trick.coin-miners.info" to "addnode=node.coin-miners.info" as I mis entered this Addnode and it seems to be the only one working from my config file.

My wallet worked after making that change.
I will upload a new and working config file later today.
