Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I have to say I like it more than typical bitcoin dice, where you can't see the rolled number just the win/lose announcement. This design is much better and gives somewhat the experience of actual play and involvement. The next step would be probably to make a real animated dice table, but it would require much more effort to animate. This is good enough. Smiley

Hello,

I have been playing a little while. Here are my observations :

- nice website, nice interface, easy to use and nice to watch!

about the game, i liked it. Original, but really easy to understand, quick, simple, a good one!

Some little things that could be added:
- the bet size is not "easy" to change. you could add some quick buttons like 0.001/0.01 etc... to make it easier to chose.
- If I log out and log in again, i don't see my bets anymore. Maybe the own history could be more persistant, not only on the session, but for one hour or  time-based, but not session-based.
- It would be nice to have an auto-bet (x5, x10, x20...) next to the "place bet" button, to enable a simple autobet functionality. The autobetting functionality is nice but complex, so adding a simple one would be nice.

I hope this will help.
This project really liked me, congratulations! Smiley

Thoughts:

- Interesting concept but a little confusing to a new player.  The help/how to play page should be the first thing people see, not hidden under a 'help' button.

- 15 second timer between rounds is too quick.  Should be ~ a minute to allow everyone to clear their boards, bet new amounts, use -ev 'systems'.  Plus rapid fire rounds takes away from the social aspect.

- The ability to wager different amounts for different numbers would probably make you some money.  People want to use strategies...let them.  Also I would take away the "odds" under the total bet...people want to see "make 63x on your bet" not "make 2.2x on your bet".

Interesting concept, nice new take on the dice model.  Personally, I'd like it a little better if it was more pvp and less house-based (basically if there was a way for the winning number bettors to win some % of the losing bettor's bet).  There are def ways to do this that encourage social aspects of the game (like Moneypot's bonus structure), but I understand the desire to keep it as simple as possible.  Also I'd add that play money play probably isn't going to attract many people.

Our goal was to keep the site as small and simple as possible. Our site is roughly 100KB

Thanks for your suggestions,

We were planning on adding a 2X 1/2 button, as for bet history, we will change that later on, so you can see it when you log back on.

Hi all. Sorry for being late to my own party. I think that's the trend anyway.

It's sort of inspired by craps, by traditional dice, and by sic bo, all of which are casino dice games. But, it's more "digital", where it's a little bit easier to verify 64 sided dice, rather than 6 sided cube dice. The 15 seconds was patterned after playing in "real" brick and mortar casinos (definition of real is subject to interpretation, but that's another topic) as well as online ones, and trying to strike a balance between too quick (5-8 seconds for some online poker), and too long (2 minutes for turn based games), also considering that there is only one board, and one dice roll for everyone playing.

A little bit of history: this was thought of some time ago, last quarter of last year. (You can whois the domain.)

I asked some friends to think of the name based on the concept (BayAreaCoins), some math experts (organofcorti) to do some number crunching for me, and a bunch more friends to try and break it in the semi-closed beta a couple weeks ago. (Thank you dooglus for your input.)

I asked a trusted friend to come on board (bitclever) and hired a local developer (ZypheronBits) to make this game a reality.

It's sort of PvP in that it is crowd-funded.

Have fun! Thank you for all your feedback!

Its kind of creative but how is it multiplayer exactly when everybody pretty much plays against the house not against each other?

The difference here is its a global game. Think of it as a roulette table in a casino, and people placing their bets on the table. A social interaction with players, etc.

We will be giving away free BTC as well to try out our game through the faucet once we go live.

Thanks for all our beta testers!
