Adding a chatbox poll

There should be a chat box, on the forum or at least on a different page within bitcointalk. If not a chatbox, then som sort of IRC. I believe this would enrich the bitcointalk community.

I think no .. That would be useless .. Everyone Guest come and spam on the chat box . also by this many new accounts will sign-up a day.And the chat box will be full of spammy likn , ref links and scams . how much a mod can do ? then

I don't think is necessary a chat box here in the forum, it would be a complete chaos if you want to chat with someone use telegram or get gems. A chatbox (trollbox) will not "enrich" the forum community.

Another thing which would require moderation, plus they are generally unneeded, messy and annoying.

I can't even imagine the level of trolling that would occur in a chatbox here and would require constant moderation.

I'm sure there are IRC channels where btctalk members congregate.

Just connect to your favorite IRC network and join #bitcoin, you might find people there.
