I am thinking of buying a used Mat 256Mhs scrypt miner.
The seller is asking 1970usd including 3xpsus, cables and shipping to me.

Is that a descent price for one of these miners today ?

Yes 3 companies have the EXACT same miner in different cases.  But same specs.   And they are cheap as they take a LOT of power to run.  I would do some ROI math before jumping in.

Yeah they pull some serious power to run, i have to think this over for a day or two.
Have you bought any miners from that page before ?

I have not.   So I cannot promise anything.  If you look into altcoin forum you will have better luck finding people who have bought from the 3 brands that split the chips.

Also I suggest doing the math as I am not sure either price can ROI with current price and so much electricity being used.

Ok, i will check out the altcoin forum.
I have some profit to spend so roi is not that important right now. I pretty much just have to pay the electric bills and hope it produces some more coins then i did put in it.
I think that is the only way to buy miners today.

Thanks for the tips !
