Ha possibly.
I had quite the struggle taking pics of the damn thing with just my phone trying to avoid glare.
Nevertheless it was wiped off immediately before I put it back in its case.
You should seriously consider getting a pair of cotton gloves.

http://www.amazon.com/b?node=3762751Cotton gloves can reduce your tactile feel for the coin, there's been times when I first started where the coin slipped out of my hands and onto the desk (luckily I always use a clean towel covering the desk in case of this). Also for proof coins it can leave little pieces of cotton "dust".
I've found that if you put the finger cots on your thumb, forefinger and middle finger gives you great dexterity for handling the coin and the rubber gives you a sure grip.
