Hello BTCJackpotters!

How do I use your service?
You can check BTCJackpot here

What is BTCJackpot?
What is BTCJackpot?

Basically, players deposit bitcoins, once a pre-defined threshold of deposits is reached a depositer will be chosen, with odds based on the values of it's deposited bitcoin, and awarded with ALL the bitcoins in the pool, expect a small house rake.
So, how does it work?
It's quite simple:
You deposit some bitcoin.
We will assign you a ticket for each 0.001฿ deposited - if you deposit a 0.1฿ you'll get 100 tickets, with 1฿ you'll get 1000 tickets, with a 10฿ - 10000, and so on.
When the deposit threshold is reached (currently set to 5) we gather all the awarded tickets and our Provably Fair system picks one of them and awards its owner with all the bitcoins in the prize pool! (Note that the threshold will adjust based on current traffic)

Rules and Features:

There are no deposit limits per wallet - each wallet can deposit any chosen number of bitcoins.
The minimum for deposit is 0.005฿.
If any deposits enter the pool on the last deposit and the deposit counter goes over the defined threshold, the deposits will be considered as part of the current round since the user depositing them participated in the current and not in the next one.
There is an house rake up to 5% on every round - this rake is calculated based on the total pool amount and is already discounted when the winner amount is shown.
The deposits and withdrawals are instant.

Provably Fair
To prove that the system is truely random and fair we utilize a provably fair system.

In this page you can find more informations on what you need and how you can calculate the winner with the hash given at the beginning of the round.

How to validate the fairness of a round?

There are three elements that allow you to verify that a round was fair, they are:
The winner percentage

The winner percentage allows you to discover the winning ticket number.
To uncover the number the system uses the formula floor( ( NumberOfTicket - 0.0000000001 ) * ( (WinnerPercentage / 100) ) ), where the floor function rounds a number downward to its nearest integer.
After doing the math you'll end up with a integer that contains the number of the winning ticket, from there you will only need to count the number of tickets, starting at the beginning of the round (being that we give 1 ticket per each 0.01฿ deposited) and you'll find the fair winner - please note the fair winner is zero based, so the first ticket starts on zero, and goes from there (in the example bellow we are already incrementing the ticket number for you).
The round secret

The round secret is generated at the beginning of the round but only shown at the end, and it's meant to encrpyt the winner percentage and allow you to verify the winning ticket via the round identifier.
The round hash

The round hash is an md5 string that is given at the beginning of the round, it is generated by joining the round secret with the winner percentage, separated by a "-", so a round hash is an md5 encrypted string of "[roundSecret]-[winningPercentage]".

I absolutely love CSGOJackpot. I have a question about your RNG and a suggestion related to it.

What RNG method do you use to determine a winner? Have you tested it to ensure it's cryptographically secure?

Most BTC gambling sites implement provably fair mechanisms to ensure that the RNG is 'fair'. When will you guys implement a provably fair system?

Hello gamblerino!

You can check our Provably Fair page here http://btc-jackpot.com/provably-fair.

Above your comment there's also the explanation to prove that the system is truely random and fair we utilize a provably fair system.
